Well, the only thing I'm using is the circumstance factor, presented in the DMG. Not really an house rule, but it hasn't caused any problem. I played by the book since the beginning and it worked just fine.

The metal-clad template, from the Advanced Bestiary (very good book BTW), has 2 CR entries, one with a +1 and one with a table (that's the good one), but no LA entry. Does anybody know have created a table or something presenting the LA for each metal-clad variety ? thanks in advance, JiCi

WotC's customer service answered that question: "Fiery Fist is an alternative bonus feat for monks at 2nd level, and Fiery Ki Defense and Ki Blast are alternative bonus feats for monks at 6th level." So, just scratch the part where it's written about monks.

I think it's all right. You can only take a single swift action per round, and it takes a standard action to throw a dagger. If it was a free action to create a dagger, then it would have been underpriced.
