I suspect this may be overblown. They bogged down so drones wreck armor. Vs a good army airport has already crushed supply lines for several weeks so any near the front line with drones are probably hungry and have no new drones.

Except the adventures do. It was bracers of defense AC 3 or 2 iirc, high dexterity, probably a shield and ring.

See why my Druid had 27 AC? Recent fighter lvl 7 C&C also had a +4 spear. Ranger/cleric of Artemis had full magic armor, weapons etc. Last session they had 20+ items one adventure. Most xp was treasure and magic items. Monster xp barely worth tracking.

I went through KotBL. There's 30-40k worth of loot iirc and a lot of magic items. I've been running a few last couple of years.

Not sure. Shields count as armor?

17 or 18 dex. May have been a cloak Orlando protection or a shield in there.

Official adventures handed out stuff like that like candy. Temple of Elemental Evil has +3 weapons and a frost brand you can get at level 4 or 5. Level 3 you might have +1 shield, plate mail, sword and something like elven cloak and boots KotBL. We were using Dungeon magazine modules...

C&C isn't basically 3E AD&D based off 1E. It uses ascending AC. When I pkay AD&D I use ascending AC as well

They were. Its how I has -7 AC as a Druid. I was running 1E adventures earlier in the year. With C&C. Fighter had 25 AC level 7. Lots of magic weapons, armor, rings. Everyone else had around 20 AC. It was Greek themed. You couldn't by anything over AC 16 (full plate etc) didn't exist...

I actually saw that priest in action. With a holy avenger. Think ive handed out a grand total of 2 ever.

Usually the downside of these anthology conversions. They truncated them buy make them look pretty.
