In the excellent rougelike CRPG A.D.O.M., there is a randomly generated dungeon that goes on for infinity. It has one or two guaranteed things located on preplanned levels. If I wanted to do something along the lines of that, I'd go with rolling on the spot.

Changing monster's appearances is an easy solution. If a kobold looks like an orc, then they're not going to know the right stats. Just ban them from looking at it in-game for non-summon/familiar purposes, and start changing stats/appearances to stop them away from the game.

That truely shows how weak the Cthulhu d20 gods are. Azathoth is supposed to be the most powerful being in existance, and yet he is weaker than a 100 armed freak. It is my opinion that Azathoth should have natural ability enabling him to destroy the universe at will.

What alignment is your character? If he's CN then the alignment thing is fine, but... I still think the evidence really stands for CE. I forgot to mention that drowning the clerics you don't think will be good enough sounds pretty evil to me. God & character sound interesting though.

I'm going with CE here. It fits the other alignments of the element gods, she intends on killing the other churches, and water is pretty evil anyway, but that's just my opinion.
