Are weapon mastery feats intended to be *class-specific* multiclass feats?

Repeating the requirement for clarification: "...any martial class" Think about it. "any martial class" is less restrictive than listing, for example, "fighter or rogue." Further, since when you multiclass into fighter you are a fighter as far as feat selection is concerened, so therefore...

    Sleeping in armor?

It's really fairly simple to figure this out. When actively involved in an adventure (where combat is possible/likely at any time) only an insane person would take off his/her armor to rest. In town, and similar places, no one should be sleeping in armor - that just makes no sense at all, in...

    Solving the minion problem: Waves!

Minions are wel... minions. You are SUPPOSED to be able to wipe them out instantly if you only do the right thing. It seems to me one of the primary fundtions them minions is to force party balance - you need to be able to do small damage to lots of things in addiiotn to everything else. I...

    Optimizing A Bard

Lingering song is needed depending upon DM's interpretation. Some rule that you can only have one of the "Inspire" abilities actively maintain at one time. The rules actually allow for you to start one and maintain it even while starting another, but not everyone sees it that way. Five rounds...

    Optimizing A Bard

Here is what I have done. At first, I went almost totally for the social aspect, neglecting most combat skills. this included choosing the whip - for fun, rather than true effectiveness. My Eberron Bard: Stats (in priority order): INT 18 (for skill points) CHA 16 (for obvious reasons) WIS 12...

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

That's funny... my character, a bard, gave up a powerful artifact because it negatively affected his looks. That was unacceptable. :)

    Permanency expansions?

Does anyone have a list of non-PHB spells that can be made permanent? It seems to me that some spells have included the ability to be made permanent in their descriptions. Thanks for any help.

Formian Queen, isn't she very vulnerable to CDG?

A Formian Queen is not "helpless." Nearly so, but not. The reason is correctly stated above, so I'll not repeat it.

    Minotaurs can't get lost????

Perhaps so, but that's your own fault. Putting a Minotaur into a Labyrinth presents no challenge whatsoever. It's an advantage of playing a Minotaur. This was an oversight on your part. So be it; play fair, and let the player find his way within the labyrinth.

    Help me make this character

Why not just suck up the weapon non-proficiency penalty? Under my approach, he'd either always attack with touch attacks (Wraithstrike) or with +20 (True Strike) or maybe even both, so he'll offset any non-proficiency penalties anyway. After all, it sounds to me like he just want to be able to...

    Help me make this character

Why not straight wizard or sorcerer? Just make sure one of his spells is Wraithstrike and/or True Strike. You could be the typical combat-avoiding mage who occasionally uses magical boosting to get in a physical blow or two.

    Concerning Feats

Maybe this is just me, but... shouldn't this discsussion be in House Rules? I think you might get better suggestions there, too.

    Out-monking a Monk in 20 levels.

Well, then, given the rules at the beginning of this discussion, one cannot out-monk the monk because the rules stated it had to be done as equal to or better than the monk in all five categories. At least that's the way I understood it to be.

    Out-monking a Monk in 20 levels.

So, if I am right, one can equal or exceed the monk on one or more of the OP's required five characteristics, but not all five. True?

    Out-monking a Monk in 20 levels.

Unless I missed something, no one has tackled ALL of: Good unarmed damage! Lots of attacks! Good saves! Good AC! Decent base speed! I wonder if it is possible to out-monk the monk when all five of those are considered.

    D&D 3.x Spells (3.5) that prevent resurrection?

No, it does not. The rules, as written, don't address the situation, precisely. It's arguable, of course. But let's not argue about that. Bottom line: enough info is presented herein for a DM to make a decision on how to rule.

No. Just as when the images act correctly to an area effect.
