What are the rumors on how non-lethal damage

No clue. Don't see much reason for it to change.

    Warlocks and Rogues

Well, since it's semi-confirmed that everything (BAB, AC, Defenses) go up by .5 per level now, having skills do the same makes sense. Broader skills is something I've been hoping for, and the SAGA style binary of trained/untrained works for me. I do sort of wonder if it's still going to be +5...

D&D 4E Concerned with 4e now, do you agree or not?

I actually don't find this all that disturbing, or really even as limiting as we might think it is. I never saw a Wizard with whirlwind attack anyway. Further, I suspect that the Wizard's in-class powers are essentially going to BE their spells. I have no evidence for this, but I wouldn't be...

    D&D 4E "Rock Band" & 4E

There's no Perform skill, in 4E it's assumed everyone can play an instrument of their choice. This is why it's called a 'band' of adventurers. Together, they fight crime.

    Cursed Items

Cursed items can be pretty cool, if the players take the time to visit them on the bad guys. [We used to pin down evil monsters and slap helms of opposite alignment on them. Good times.]

    Likely poison mechanics

The thing I don't like is that implies that PCs will still be making Fort saves, to throw off the poison. I'm not liking that too well. It multiplies mechanics if we have both saving throws and defenses.

    A Guess About Feats...

Something similar to this has occurred to me. It may also apply to the way Wizards' spells work, or at least the way they silo.

    D&D 3.x 4e Crunch, 3e Flavor

Seems like too much of a niche product, to my mind. 3E flavor, while popular, was not in and of itself so screaming awesome that a lot of people (who probably already have the 4E books) would pay for a sort of rules-updated retro-clone. I have very little doubt that if the book is OGL there...

    D&D 4E 4e price increase?

This is not such an amount of money I can't afford if I really want it. I'm a law student, but I don't eat out a lot so I'm not in abject poverty or anything. That said, WotC is going to have to work for it. And I play at the FLGS pretty frequently, so I can't justify ordering online for the...

    Malebranche now a demon

The dwarf wearing armor wouldn't be inconsistent with ASF still being in the game. This seems like the sort of thing that would come under those racial talents they've talked about. Dwarven fighters will probably be wearing approximately an engine block, so even the wizards of the dwarven race...

Skiis, snow and the enviroment in general

I absolutely want stuff like this, although I guess it doesn't need to be in the core. Blizzards, swamps, steaming jungles, and of course the chill, damp, and filth of the dungeon. I think it'd be pretty cool for all of these to have their own effects.

    Malebranche now a demon

I like the human fighter. Dude looks pretty rag-tag. I'm not a fan of the new look for the dryad - I was fond of having occasional cheesecake in the MM for no good reason. That elf's stance looks kind of off to me.

    Content Design Request

They're really doing a straw-man kind of thing in those examples. The 'before' of bagel-making is simply poor explanatory writing. You don't need a whole lot of buzzwords to write clearly and communicate well.

Greg Bilsland: Prophecy of the Priestess Part IV

I run the game a little differently. I tend to throw a lot of material out there, and see how the players react. Even if I give them a fairly specific end, there will usually be a lot of different ways to come at it. And they do tend to surprise me pretty frequently. Planned dungeons are...

    Challenge to WotC: Initiative

See, I'm not sure why the two abilities are inappropriate when comboed. If it's not unbalancing for PCs to have such abilities, why is it such a shock that there might be more than one. If two PCs are ganged up on a bad guy and using special powers on him, then "attack him at -5 or attack me...

    . . . while you're at it. . . Fix heavy armor!

SAGA had a whole talent chain that made armor awesome-er. Also, Mearls' earlier work (Iron Heroes) had the Armiger class. I'd say there's a really good chance of the heavy armor getting some love.

Greg Bilsland: Prophecy of the Priestess Part IV

Y'know, that's sort of an interesting thing you've said there. In 3.x, a 4-fighter party would have had a tough row to hoe. If 4E classes are balanced such that a single class can take different paths and fulfill a role it's not usually used for...well, you could actually live the dream and...

    Challenge to WotC: Initiative

I'm kind of hoping it's SAGA-style. I liked that. It meant that high-level badasses were, y'know, more on the ball than less experienced fighters. And that's cool.

Greg Bilsland: Prophecy of the Priestess Part IV

Do these players ever think for themselves? Somebody told us to escape through the crypt. OH GOD UNDEAD ARE EATING US. Hey, guys, you think maybe the NPCs might be out to get you? Maybe you shouldn't believe the next 'helpful guy' that comes along. Really, though, these guys are playing it...

    D&D 4E "Mook" rules for 4E monsters?

I think the problem with mooks is that even if they are wussy, if there are twenty of them you still more or less have to roll twenty attacks. Is there any way to mitigate THAT, other than saying only some proportion of them are allowed to take an attack action in a round? Because that would...
