I agree, Paladin would be perfect as a system - it encourages heroics and crazy stunts e.g. characters leaping over mighty rivers in a single bound.

Sorry, it is a different book entirely - the Melnibonean and Cthulu mythos are absent. The stats are 2E format, and the gods are all given speciality priests in accordance with 2E rules. It is a 2E book, not a 1E book. Oh and the art is different. It is definitely not a reprint. An update...
