I would recommend the Spring attack route... in light of the party make-up. You'd be making the Ranger feel inadequate if you to went the TWF route. Mike

The dispel chance for Pierce Magical Protection uses the characters Spellcraft check as his caster level... (using greater dispel mechanic)... it isn't an automatic, targeted dispel. Mike

A straight Cleric with a good memorized list does all that... without loosing caster levels. The Cleric has lots of spell options for buffing himself and othere for combat: energy immunities righteous might freedom of movement righteous wrath of the faithful revivify stalwart pact recitation...

Protection... why? Are you removing one of these from you're game? The whole chain is broken IMHO... YMMV. There are lots of other, more subtle ways for a DM to empower himself (or herself)... It's already been house ruled at my table. Mike

So, are you trying to say that the Elemental Savant and Argent Savant are underpowered PrC's or are you really hoping for all their abilities and full casting levels? Mike
