This is an interesting idea, but I'd be worried that a lot of melee powers (and the classes they're associated with) are balanced with the assumption that you have to get into the midst of enemies to use them. Healing Strike is actually a prime example of this.
I would probably make the feat...
In this case, I think you'd have to decide "What is luck?" in your game world. Where does luck come from? If it is somehow tied into magic, then I guess Arcane. If it's from the gods who favor you, then Divine. If luck is some other force of anti-coincidence, then make a new Luck power source...
That's obviously the Luck power source . . .
I think this would depend on what other abilities the class had. That is, you could make an arcane, divine, elemental or shadow gambler, and they would all work but be very different flavor-wise, and potentially mechanically.

Silent7Seven Games is in, and we recently released our first product, Advanced Class: Druid — Favored Forms. The Lunar Scrolls is coming soon, and previews of other stuff is available at our website.

Wow. My girlfriend's character was built around the time of the article coming out, and she even took the claw fighter feat at 1st level, so I'm surprised that we accidentally still used the ability score bonuses from the Monster Manual version.

What? 12 squares is 60 feet, and therefore 6d10 damage, which is an average damage of 33: 13 less than an 18-Con fighter's total hp [at 3rd level].
Anyway, I love the robot idea. You should consider having it throw them instead of dropping them. There's a bugbear with a 'throwing a grabbed...
This question reminds me of an issue I was wondering when play with the bard 1-3 preview . . . how do misdirected mark and vicious mockery compare to each other?
Misdirected mark deals 1d8 damage over vicious mockery's 1d6, but vicious mockery is against Will; that seems to even out.
Now...
Also, they put gnolls as having no optimal class options, but +2 Str, +2 Dex is exactly perfect for a brutal rogue, which is what my girlfriend plays.
I suppose they assumed rogues were Dex/Cha, but a Strength build is the other half of the V.

Well I watched the whole thing . . . but I don't think that's the style of game I could really enjoy for any reasonable amount of time.
Maybe once you have a combat session uploaded I'll try again.

Well I'm currently running (recently started) an interplanar campaign set in the Magic: the Gathering multiverse. It's great because I can just add my own planes and have potentially infinite space to work with. Anyway, the players were pulled from their home planes and stuck together in a world...
Just give them all ferocious charge.
Erm. I think if I wanted a lower magic setting, I'd cut the magical races. Dragon people? Demon people? Super-magic-oriented people? Just plain not good fits for a low magic setting.
Anyway, a simple solution is to give dragonborn the dwarves' minor action...
Defender: Warden. I love their daily mechanics.
Striker: Wild magic sorcerer. Full of awesome.
Controller: Druid!
Leader: Shaman or bard depending on the nature of the campaign and the other characters. Neither of these two really jumps out at me, but I think either could be fun to play.

That's not true in many cases of lower-profile products. If this becomes a popular product in the realm of piracy, then you're right. But otherwise a FLGS might be the best place to steal a digital copy. Also consider that someone might not be Internet savvy, but still capable of catching on to...
How do you plan to counteract what Wizards was worried about: piracy. Are the magazines shrink-wrapped, or is the code otherwise protected? Or are you counting on no one except buyers being interested in the magazine?
