Good 8, Evil 9 - Evil wins the Exhibition!

I2K Judging from the use of commas in the SRD the power should be interpreted as: Twice per day a nalfeshnee can attempt to summon: 1d4 vrocks (CR9) (with 100% chance of success), or 1d4 hezrous (CR11) (with 100% chance of success), or one glabrezu (CR13) with a 50% chance of success, or...

Good 8, Evil 9 - Evil wins the Exhibition!

Bottom of 78: A ray zips out from 110N0E20Z and heads straight for the naldfeshnee before being deflected off at the last possible moment. (OOC: Imagine, a miss with the ray that *wasn't* a natural 1!) Top of 79 for Evil! Evil True Seeing allows you to see the invisible ghaele duck...

NG vs. NE: Neutral Evil is Victorious!

Gansk - interp and compression - Okay, being on the ethereal doesn't remove him from victory conditions, if I remember correctly. Aegorus will use the opportunity to start singing his Inspire Courage in the first round. If his opponent doesn't join him in the second round, he'll give himself...

NG vs. NE: Neutral Evil is Victorious!

Heh, that's the way it felt on the Exhibition Arena recently with Mr. Salamander, too.

NG vs. NE: Neutral Evil is Victorious!

Aegorus will go to Full Attack with Power Attack +8. If we want to go to compression and just do damage to each other: If Aegorus ever has less than four attacks hit, he'll scale down the PA by 4 for the next round. If all attacks hit in a round, he'll scale up the PA by 4 for the next round.

NG vs. NE: Neutral Evil is Victorious!

Assuming there is no unusual (non-damage) effect from the tentacle, and that Aegorus doesn't know anything about Storo, Aegorus will reply with a straightforward Full Attack with Power Attack at +5. (He's backing off on the PA some since that stoney flesh looks like it might be hard to punch...

Good 8, Evil 9 - Evil wins the Exhibition!

Infinitus is apparently still too fatigued from his last fight, and decides to stay in the infirmary. (OOC: I'd switch my dice for evil summons, but they're virtual dice and are changed constantly anyway. Apparently selfish evil types don't like to help each other out.) Bottom of 78 for Good.

Good 8, Evil 9 - Evil wins the Exhibition!

The Wall of Fire on the northern edge of the VZ is dispelled for the portion that extends through the VZ. The other two Walls of Fire are outside of the VZ and thus unaffected. OOC: This one made me think. That seems to happen regularly with GMing BoAA arenas. My logic is that the Wall is a...

Good 8, Evil 9 - Evil wins the Exhibition!

Speaking of salt - a ray lances out from above the water at 110N0E20Z, plunges into Krathlakk's back, severing his firey spine and crumpling him to the floor. (critical for 20 pts of damage) OOC: I'm actually surprised it's taken Hurrycane this long to get a critical hit. Top of 78, for Evil!

Good 8, Evil 9 - Evil wins the Exhibition!

Krathlakk's piles a pretty good longspear thrust and another good tailslap into the square, along with two pretty pitiful spear attacks, but nothing manages to connect with any creature that might be there. Indeed, Krathlakk can't be sure that there is anything in that square anymore. Bottom...

NG vs. NE: Neutral Evil is Victorious!

Sure. If Aegorus ever has more than two attacks get through the incorporeality (assuming that's what it is) but not penetrate armor, he'll scale back the PA by 4 for the next round. If all attacks that get through spectral penetrate armor, he'll scale up the PA by 4 for the next round.

NG vs. NE: Neutral Evil is Victorious!

Aegorus briefly considers a hit-and-run approach to the beast, but then decides for a more old-fashioned tactic: Full Attack with Power Attack +10.

Ah-ha! Indeed. Hurrycane lives to fight another day. Back to Kathlakk in the Top of 77, with his riposte having missed!

Addenda for Lothir Hmm.. maybe it doesn't matter. From the SRD on holding the charge: "In most cases, if you don’t discharge a touch spell on the round you cast it, you can hold the charge (postpone the discharge of the spell) indefinitely. You can make touch attacks round after round. If you...

Good 8, Evil 9 - Evil wins the Exhibition!

    - - - the events previously described here never happened - - - Lothir Amazingly, Hurrycane took long enough to die that there's actually risk your min/lvl buffs could expire (starting in round 84). I show them as: Buffs: cat's grace (r34), Shield of Faith (r35), ProtEvil (r36), Chill Touch...

Good 8, Evil 9 - Evil wins the Exhibition!

OOC: Okay, I ran into a time-loop in the rules that hurts my head - Readying. K is readied to attack when Hurrycane's position becomes clear: "If Hurrycane is pinpointed, then attack with the longspear (5ft-step if necessary/possible)." According to the SRD: "The action occurs just before the...

Good 8, Evil 9 - Evil wins the Exhibition!

PJSlavner From my reading of this, getting Hurrycane's square to make an attack will be at least DC40 (20+20), which is beyond Kathlakk's ability to reach. As for the "I gots a funny feeling" result, I decided it only was DC20 since tporting in was "being active" in my mind. As it turns out...

NG vs. NE: Neutral Evil is Victorious!

Aegorus breathes at the something again, hoping it is having some kind of effect. Aergorus has the sinking feeling that he'll fast-heal up to max hp and then lose a save-or-die effect against one of these beasties.
