Yungeld feels certain that he should have taken that dwarf up on buying an armored plate to cover his franistan - this Fly Fish certainly has his number. He breaths another blast of sound at Fly Fish, then turns and attempts to soar away fast and high, heading for 35n70e50z.

You realize that would probably mean a lot less time in your lab, working on fun stuff, though... :) Oh, and plot me down as reader n+1 who'd miss you guys if you took a storyhour hiatus.

139: Armstrong teleports and flies, all the while being in Paul's line of sight... Drac slashes through the blade barrier (nat 20 sv), taking 37/2 = 18 pts. His long, outstretched neck reaches out and hits dead on to Armstrong (44), doing (22 - 10) = 12 hp. Armstrong is reduced to -8 hp and...

Paul's AoO is... a miss! (20) Even with Armstrong not getting his Dex, it isn't enough due to the archon's celestially-hardened skin.

138: * Paul hits with the initial bite (31) and then misses with the claws. The bite barely catches Armstrong before sliding off (can you believe this bad luck 4d4+5 = 9. Gah!) * Drac's bite resoundingly hits (39) for (25-10 = 15hps). Armstrong wriggles again to avoid the worst of the blades...

Another Fang.... *sigh*... well at least Golgatha has some idea what they're like now...

138: A stronger disarm attempt from Evil, with Armstrong getting (13+21+4 = 38) and Paul getting (16+14+8 = 38). The tie sends the GM rushing off to his rules website, finding that ties cause a second roll (i.e. there is no implied "tie to the defender"). Good rolls the same 13 (for 38 again)...

Golgatha replies with a full attack with no Power Attack, leading with the bite. If the bite manages to drop FXF, he'll take an MEA afterwards...

Golgatha grits his teeth in frustration as FXF somehow fails to die. (Wow, that's like an average of 4 pts per d10, prior to the halving. :) Clearly Golgatha is neither radiant nor forceful enough with his breath. I think I'll recommend more garlic before matches next time.)
