Okay, I went back over it, and there is some oddity here. Gansk mentions comparing to the angels' Protective Aura, which can be dispelled and re-established (though it doesn't say "dismissed", only "dispelled"), as an exception to most Su abilities, which cannot be Dispelled. One must wonder...
