I agree. If you said Core only cleric with Divine Feats I would be all over that. Otehr classes, more options helps soo much, and spellcasters without Spell COmpendium are just not the same for me.

Just a note. Allowing Metabreath feats on the Sorceror's Draconic Breath feat is controversial by RAW. Metabreath feats require you to have a breath weapon with a 1d4 round recharage time. Be sure to check with your DM about his ruling.

Actually armor is a minor source of AC. A fully magical armor is only +5 AC over a mundane suit. It is rings of deflection, Amulets of Natural armor and such that give sky high armor classes.

I would really avoid such items. They are jsut too good for the cost. Savingthatr many slots for a minimal cost is unbalancing.

Bards are a solid character clas in my opinion. i like stronger casters better, and would probably go Battel Sorceror instead of a Bard, but i like them.
