    Q from Star-trek

Sure, by other Q, the Husnock, Trelane's race, the Metrons, and the other "omniscient" races inhabitating the Trek Universe. The "everyday" races wouldn't stand a chance. Ever watch Voyager? ;)

    Q from Star-trek

In Decipher's Star Trek RPG (the closest available Trek RPG to d20), they don't give stats for the Q, with good reason. They're not gods, but they are pretty damn close to being omnipotent. Decipher says (and I agree) that the Q should be used as a plot device (like they were on the show) and...

New to the Hyborian Age: Where to start?

If you're looing to read the stories in "chronological" order I'd suggest picking up Gollancz's Fantasy Masterworks series. The stories are published in chronological order, but the book is pretty much only available in the UK or through Amazon.uk...

Expedition to the Barrier Peaks: Androids, Robots, Assorted Flora and Fauna

I submitted it close to a month ago. I'll try emailing Morrus to see what's up.

    Enterprise

I agree. Wrap up the alien Nazis thread and the "Temporal Cold War" (ugh) and start new. Let Manny Coto push the reset button - at the start of "Home" (AFAIK the first "real" Coto episode) he should have Archer step out of the shower a la Bobby Ewing, and say the past two seasons didn't...

    Dead Celebs - 2004

According to the B5 Moderated newsgroup, Tim Choate (Zathras on B5 and Pollix on Crusade) died yesterday in a motorcycle accident. That's Paul Winfield, Rick Biggs and now Tim Choate all in one year. Definitely not a good year for B5 fans... :(

    Pulp Cthulhu no longer d20

Seconded. Like I said previously I prefer BRP, but d20 has its merits too. Seems to me the best bet for d20 CoC is for Fantasy Flight Games to take up the RPG license and start publishing materials. Nocturnum certainly was playable, and shows that FFG knows the license.

Good Sources for creating a Post-Apocalyptic World?

If you looking for post-apoc stories be sure to check out Walter Miller's A Canticle for Leibowitz. Another post-apocalyptic classic and great read too.

Expedition to the Barrier Peaks: Androids, Robots, Assorted Flora and Fauna

Thanks, Jedi. Real life reared its ugly head there for a while, but I'm glad to have it finished. No there's no word but Morrus is a busy guy. I'm sure when he gets a chance he'll post it. ;)

Good Sources for creating a Post-Apocalyptic World?

The best advice I could think of would be to check out Gamma World 1st thru 6th editions. (If you're looking for d20 Modern compatible go with White Wolf's 6th edition.) and Darwin's World 2nd edition. It's d20 Modern compatible and superior to WW's Gamma World IMO.

    Pulp Cthulhu no longer d20

Source? I was just over at Chaosium.com and saw no mention of this. If it's true, I'm dissapointed but will end up buying the product anyway. With the conversion giude and new d20 rules included in HPL's Arkham it shouldn't be too difficult to wrangle out a d20 conversion to any BRP pulp...
