[d20 Future] What type of damage do lasers do?

Yeah, I know it's a silly question but my local FLGS (Waldenbooks) hasn't gotten it in yet. I'm working on a conversion of Expedition to the Barrier Peaks and I'd like to see how d20F handles lasers and such to see if I can steal some ideas. I just need to know the damage type if any (fire...

    Window XP service pack 2.

I'm running it now. The biggest visible "improvement" is the addition of the "Security Center" which features an improved firewall, pop-up protection, and allows for mangement of windows updates downloaded via the internet. Most other changes are minor or invisible. Oh and it's stable. I had...

No more Firefly - what next?

Yeah, it was. The last half of Season 1 sets the stage for the other 4 and a half seasons. Season 2 picks up steam, season 3 is great, season 4 is MIND BLOWING and season 5 - well, the last half is pretty good. Heartily recommended. I'd also suggest Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Stargate: SG1.

    What happened to Tim Drake?

Close. Drake hung up the mantle of Robin for the reason(s) Cthulhudrew mentioned, and Stephanie Brown (Spoiler) stepped in as the new Robin just as a hired assassin started killing any boy in Gotham that had Tim Drake's height/build/hair color in an effort to kill Robin. Batman sends Cassandra...

Looking for spoilers-Shadows of the Last War

The prelude to SotLW is The Forgotten Forge adventure in the ECS. The adventure assumes the characters have finished FF, and picks up not soon after that adventure ends.

    Effective party of Eberron PCs?

The group I'm running consists of: Warforged Fighter Shifter Ranger Human Cloistered Cleric (from Unearthed Arcana) of Arawai Elf Wizard They managed to handle things pretty well. The Warforged was the "blunt instrument" they used to in combat, while the ranger was the more stealthy fighter...

Any module/sourcebook made you go "Drop everything I want to run this right now?"

The Raiders of Galath's Roost, Dungeon #87. And yeah, the FRCS made me want to run a Realms game right fraggin' now also. Oh, and when I picked up Dead Gods I got the same feeling.

lost control of my spending sphincter yesterday

Well, I've been buying Giants of Legend minis like they're plastic crack. I've also picked up Serpent Kingdoms, the Planar Handbook, and Shadows of the Last War. The next purchases are going to be: d20 Future, Pirate Isles (for the Conan RPG), the re-release of Shadows of Yog-Sothoth and the...

    Knowlege (autopsy?)

Assuming you're playing a "modern" game, it would fall under Knowledge (medicine). Autopsy uses surgical and anatomy/physiology skills that would be covered under that skill. If you're looking for a skill to use to find criminal evidence or a pathology I'd suggest Forensics. When I homebrewed...

    $50 spending money: help me

You can send two Giants of Legend boosters to VB down the old bunny hole, or you can get the Eberron CS for yourself - but take a look through it first. Eberron is a wonderful setting but it ain't everyone's cup o' tea - make sure it jives with what you and your group wants.

Campaigns you hope to run someday before you die

Like you, lack of time, and a suspected lack of interest. My players are *afraid* to play Call of Cthulhu - the death rate's too high for 'em apparently, and the original Tomb of Horrors made enough of an impression so as they won't be venturing back that way again soon...

Campaigns you hope to run someday before you die

The Complete Masks of Nyarlathotep and Beyond the Mountains of Madness either for BRP or d20 Cthulhu. A Dominion War Campaign for the Star Trek RPG, using the CODA ruleset. Harlequin for Shadowrun 3rd edition. Return to the Tomb of Horrors Sadly none of these will probably come to pass. :(

White Plume Mountain - your experiences?

I ran this one in the early '80s, and converted it for 3.5. I found it enjoyable, particulary its emphasis on traps and riddles, but I wished for a little more backstory (and maybe a cameo) on Keraptis.
