D&D General The Purple Dragon Knights are tied to an Amethyst Dragon (confirmed)

D&D started off as DC & Marvel, literally copying the art. Hell, the Forgotten Realms was literally a DC Comic book line.

The funny thing about enshrined "official canon"...nobody woth sny "authority" over canon cares. The whole multiverse echoes thing also gives WotC a get out of jail free card on retcons. Literally everyone wins.

More interestingly, and I think this is what excited James Wyatt when he sprang it upon the game in Fizban's and helps WotC commercial goals: it provides a diabetic reason for just mixing a d matching stuff, like placing classic module in Eberron Tht is, it provides a metaphysical in-fiction...

Todd Kenreck talks with Peter Romenesko at Roll20 about Daggerheart.

Alright, thanks, finally got the chance to watch it myself, too. A quick Google shows that in 2023, six million new PCs were made on Beyond, so 500k is a pretty significant number in comparison: https://www.dndbeyond.com/posts/1648-2023-unrolled-a-look-back-at-a-year-of-adventure#Species
