The thing is, using cyberware, I wish to give out x DR/- and that equals a +1LA. So the human would be a baisc human, say fighter, then gets cyberware, thus making him more pwoerful. Not sure how the darkvision would work, how many feat would equal a LA adjustment? 300? Perhasp scrap the LA...

I use this when some one says they ahve a campaign to run, and I am still a couple of hours away, my scores are almost always lower than every one elses. I am cool like that. I'll probably use this in my next campiagn.

You could try using an abstract use of owing "favors". The farmer, will put up the characters for the night, while the king will give the characters his best smith as a personal weaponsmith. The rewards won't be based as evenly when compared by gold for gold value, but to the farmer, giving up...
