My campaign has a small collection of shamanic plains ogres. They are outside the norm as far as normal ogres goes, they are not inherently evil. However I am having quite a problem deciding what class to give them. The adept in the DMG is a bit under-powered while the cleric doesn't have quite...
What sort of world are these classes for? I looked at the shaman because I need some sort of shamanic class for my shaman plains ogres but the Shaman here had bazillions of spells! What is that for?
Thanks

WOW.......Pure Genius.
I was working on a similar system that allowed characters of higher levels to do more damage with weapons but this put the skill system to shame!

I was flipping through the 3.5E DM Guide and began reading on epic characters. Under the epic Druid's status block it says this on the subject of animal companion.
"The Druid may have a maximum number of animal companions equal to twice her class level, as normal."
Does it say this in the...
Um.... Primitive, where did you get these feats? 2 handed defense, and many others? Or are these just basic ideas?

P.S. There have been a number of little "forum" words i have been missing. What is, BTW, IMHO, or some such thing? -Thanks
Ah-hah! I see. I like very much. Though I would make a few adjustments.
Mainly I see this as a less civilized way of brining people back from the dead. Such as from barbarian tribes and thwe like. These are people who do not poses the skills to cast such spells as resurection. I might even...
You may want to check this out.
Dread Enchanter
This is a prestige class I made with sentient undead. It has been pretty much balanced by the kind people here and you could use its base for your template. Second post is halfdeads, which is what I would recomend looking into.
Good luck

Yeah, a friend of mine got the revised star wars book and I really like the way they did defense and DR there. Probably very close to spycraft. However when changing it over to fantasy I found that weapons did quite a bit less damage and weapons like daggers and scimitars became next to useless...
I also wonder. By 3.5 rules, the average 13th level character has about 43k. This is the lowest "average" level a character could get this. Amulet of health gives you an extra 3 hitpoints per level, thus meaning an extra 39 hitpoints. Much more than the amulet of unseen health.
Just wondering...
So by proficient/not proficient means if it appears on your class weapon list? That seems to makes sense.
If the above statement is true then:
So do feats like martial weapon proficiency make those weapons "proficient" for you, ie., purchased ranks cost less?
That is much simpler, though at...
I will keep that in mind. My apologies to any one who became annoyed. :)
A little confused on this one. Does putting points into one of these groups give you a rank in all weapons inside that group? With the exception of exotic. What does the chart mean?
