I am not sure where you listed what limitations or negatives you are giving the player? It all sounds like positive things you are giving them.

After reading that I have a feeling that we will see most of the material we would have seen in the books coming out as DDi content. Just the feeling I got from reading that.

Actually I just went back and looked it originally was updated along with the Compendium on the 4th Tuesday of the month.

Wasnt the original update day the 3rd Tuesday of the month? And then they changed it to the 1st Tuesday of the month? It almost seems like they may be moving back to the 3rd Tuesday of the month again.......perhaps

It has been stated before in the other thread about this but the 4th season of Encounters materials for organizers states that the Class Compendium has been delayed and will not be available in time for the 4th season.

WOTC already has said that they will not be doing any more monster race write ups for PC's. They made the statement before PHB3 was released when people wanted both Gith races to be included.

Try making a Custom - Home Campaign character and not a Fast character or a Custom - Encounters character

Ummm use a Feat and take the Ritual Caster Feat and then you can have Rituals. Neat huh

When using CutePDF to print to pdf set the DPI to 144. It makes readable but much much smaller files.

Essentials = 4th edition 4th edition = Essentials 4th edition changed the math on monsters for the Monster Manual 2 and then once again for the Monster Manual 3. The Monster Manual 3 changes carried over into the Darksun Monsters and the Monster Vault.

Considering that the new CB is server based (i.e WOTC's server) I doubt you will ever get much house rule ability. I can see being able to type on the character sheet but nothing much past that.

Dragon 393 would be updated in January if they keep the same update schedule. Dragon 394 where the Executioner is would be a February update

This is one of the known bugs. The CB is looking for the item to be listed as "Cloth, Leather" but in the database it is listed as "Cloth, leather". Amazing what a L or an l can do to your database huh :)

That is the application number of the Silverlight ap they are using for the builder. It has nothing to do with the data set version number (which is not displayed anywhere). This was posted on the WOTC forums awhile back.

Since its being housed on their own servers dont expect to ever be able to add anything to the CB. Now if they or someone else produces an offline character viewer that allows you to modify the character sheets and portrait that is a much more likely scenario.

I am not familiar that much with the Assassin since I have never played one. But are you looking at the compiled Magazine or looking at the pdf of the Article. If its the latter they make changes in the compiled version of the magazine which is why saving copies of the pdfs of articles is not...

I believe that they have said that the Essentials format is the format we will see going forward with 4th edition. What you will see in support for the older classes will be in feats and powers etc that are available for everyone.
