Are you admitting that you broke the TOS for the CB by allowing others to download and use the CB from your account? That was not the intent of the CB and your admission is one of the reasons they have chosen to move to the new CB.

Are you sure you have the Urgosh equipped in the shop screen? Just checking. And two-weapon defense gives a +1 SHIELD bonus to AC and Reflex. And I just created a Dwarf Fighter with these feats and it calculated it correctly. I have the latest CB update as of October.

They still print them and hand them out at churches etc. There used to be a group that handed them out in front of the center where Gencon was held.

Why not check the monster builder forum at WOTC. I have seen a couple of threads with people explaining how to do it.

The one that you want is THIS version. Realize they explain the change and then print the whole new text or stat block of the item in question so it looks huge when its really not.

The Red Box is worth the purchase if you are both just starting out in D&D. The dice the module and the code to download another module or 2 is a nice thing to have. Pick up the Rules Compendium and Heroes of the Fallen Land. The differences from the RB to HotFL is not as egregious as others...

I dont know if anyone posted this yet or not but the new D&D site doesnt work well with Chrome. Looks great with Firefox but with Chrome it doesnt format correctly.

Dungeon 181 which just compiled the other day has 93 pages. It has 3 adventures in it and has 2 plot hooks (which include background and NPC stat blocks) and has 3 or 4 other minor articles.

Always make sure that you have the character sheet closed when you are equipping weapons etc. Then open it after you are done.

I started with the Basic Set from 1978 (I believe the refer to it as the Blue Box) and then started purchasing the AD&D books as well in 1979. I will be purchasing a couple of copies of the Red Box for my 12 yr and for my old gaming friends and their kids.

The Redbox is totally for new players and DM's The 2 Heroes of books are for new and old players The Rules Compendium is for new and old players/DM's The DM's kit, the tiles and the Monster kit are for new and old DM's The dice are for everyone I think that breaks it down nicely

If you cant have fun by just PLAYING, and not having it be all about you cant have fun unless its done the way you want it to be, then Encounters is definitely not for you. I personally DM encounters but the people that come out are there for the fun of playing and the camaraderie of others...
