Actually its not gleemax and has not been for sometime, and the new forums are actually quite nice. Work out a few bugs and it will be fine. Took a day or so to get used to but has been fine ever since.

No you do not get to mark with a Basic Attack with the Hybrid Fighters Mark ability.

Unless the power says Shift your speed, or move your speed etc the Slow effect does not affect it at all.

The power does not do any [W] damage so how could you add an extra 1[w] damage to something that does not do [w] damage?

He has probably read the optimization threads and knows about polearm gamble and all of the reach weapon craziness. As is stated in the response above the Spartan spear did not have reach and is probably damage wise more like the tratnyr but is simply a spear.

The PHB3 will have a Primal feel to it, races etc. Although many disagree with me but I see 4 psionic classes / 2 primal classes / 2 divine classes.

The long spear also has reach. Which is why you can not wield it 1 handed. If he wants spear and shield he can use a spear or a tratnyr. Thats the only choice that he has.

WOTC already stated in the Githzerai article that the Githyanki is not the other race. It was also stated that the Githzerai was the only somewhat Psionic race of the races in the book. Some have offered conjecture that Gnoll could be the 4th race.

You do realize that there was an article in Dungeon 155 that gave you a whole conversion and extra encounters to place this in the Realms.
