Attached is an outline of a character I wanted to play but never got around to. I made it when the Bo9S first came out. You can take a look at it for some ideas.

What flavor are you after with the tiefling? Go the otherway, be a celestial changeling. Be a fallen angel (i use the term vaguely here since celestials as in the template aren't really angels) who has recently atoned. It'd probably make it easier for you to relate to roleplay as well since...

Fiendish Changeling maybe? Simple but to the point really. I'm not familiar with the half-doppleganger template so I can't really speak about that.

I don't believe any of them break the game. I prefaced my post a little vaguely, there are no prestige classes which I think are inherently broken. Of all the prestige classes, that list contains the ones I feel are the strongest.

Well the game in question came about and I ended up letting the character take Burlew's creation without modification. The other characters are all quite powerful and the rogue cleric was the least effective in combat yesterday. We'll see how it goes as things progress though.

I started when I was about 9 (I'm 20 now). My friends Cameron, Justin and me were all pretty into fantasy. Cameron's mom and dad introduced us to D&D and we played 1st edition with them, because that's what books we had. It kind of grew from there, though I never did play second edition...

I really like Rich's trickster as is as far as abilities go. What do you think would balance the class? Losing a caster level at 1st and also at 7th?

Well, as Nail mentioned, don't forget that your power attack is limited by your base attack bonus, but none the less it still looks like fun. :)

Anyone else have opinions on Burlew's creation shown in the link above? This is more along the lines of what I had in mind but it is pretty chalk full of goodness.

I seem to remember a divine trickster type prestige class (clerical casting + sneak attack), possibly with the that very name, but I can't seem to remember where I found it. Can anyone help me out here?

This is for one of my players, I'm the DM. He wants to be a dire lion all the time and he has two normal lion animal companions (one via the feat wild cohort). He'd like to be able to stay in lion form all the time, even possibly in town (which will make for some interesting scenes ..hehe)...

I phrased that poorly using the word companion I think. I'm looking for a way for a druid to communicate to the rest of the party while in wildshape form, because the druid in question doesn't want to have to come out of wildshape form at all if possible. He already has the feat natural spell...

Is there a feat / spell / magic item that allows a druid to speak to their companions party members while wildshaped? I could have swore I saw one but I think I'm overlooking it.

Races of the Dragon has a feat that gives a character wings, must be taken at first level by a kobold. At first they just let you glide,but at 6th level you can take other feats to improve that later.

I think it would be fine with the racial hit dice, and perhaps still okay without them. The only class I'd have second doubts about without the hitdice would be rogues.

I'd say yes, its hard to have it both ways. Either you are an animal and can animal growth yourself or you are a humanoid and can enlarge yourself. Though you could knock it out with the line "Multiple magical effects that increase size do not stack" from enlarge person, saying that wildshape...

How do you figure AC 73 with the above?
