Is there a spell index online somewhere?

Wow, that is a good one.
  2. DarkJester

    Ultimate Ranger/Druid

Yep, it's in the PHB now.

    Ultimate 12th level Rogue

Simple question, but best at what?

    Paladin of Tyranny Advice!

That was my idea behind the 4 fighter levels as well, so I'll second this.

    Paladin of Tyranny Advice!

I'd go Paladin of Tyranny 4 Hexblade 2 Fighter 4 Blackguard 10 (though probably not in that order). You would never ever fail a save if you had anywhere near a good charisma with Dark Blessing + Arcane Resistance + Divine Grace. Grab divine might and extra turning to maximize the charisma...

    Super Duperest Class EVER!

Well, frenzied berzerker is pretty much super rage, and you really don't have a choice other than to flip out and kill people if they hurt you (unless you have a good will save).

Best feats for a low-level gish.

I threw a little bit of a guy together, I like the idea of a dwarven fighter mage. I might use this guy for an npc at some point. Here is a brief outline. Stats: Con / Int / Strength / Dex / Wis / Cha 1 Fighter 1 [Power Attack, Cleave] 2 Transmuter 1 (Scribe Scroll) 3 Transmuter 2...

    Paladin of Tyranny Advice!

Three levels of hexblade would make it very difficult to fail a save. Possibly try to trade out your mount for a variant if you don't plan on making use of it.

    Polymorph undead?

Undead are immune to any effect that requires a fortitude save and doesn't affect objects, thus they are unaffected by Baleful Polymorph. Polymorph any object can affect them though, as it can target objects. I think liches flat out get immunity to polymorph effects.

Is there a spell index online somewhere?

http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=343040 Has many from different sources but hasn't been updated in a while. http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lists/spells has spells from the PHB and Spell compendium. Both include page numbers.

    Most broken prestige classes?

I agree. But regardless, they are both very powerful in their own ways.

What is a fixed range spell?

    <laugh> Cool. Thank you.

    Club claws and bite

Obviously he is an expert juggler. Seems like a boo-boo to me, though I didn't check the website.

What is a fixed range spell?

I mean, can I cast displacement on my friend Jake the fighter and apply the persistent spell metamagic feat to that spell, leaving Jake under the effect of Displacement all day.
  15. DarkJester

What is a fixed range spell?

I was going for persistent range touch buff's actually, such as displacement or invisibility. I agree with shocking grasp and its ilk being unsupported.

What is a fixed range spell?

Ah, okay, so this means fear doesn't have to come directly from the caster? I missed that one if so. What do you think about persistent touch spells?
  17. DarkJester

What is a fixed range spell?

Indeed but Admittedly I was first thinking about color spray, but that indeed is a instantaneous spell.
  18. DarkJester

    Most broken prestige classes?

There are very few prestige classes I think are outright broken. These are some of the ones I think are pretty powerful. Frenzied Berzerker Initiate of the Seven Fold Veil Abjurant Champion Master Specialist Incantatrix Planar Shepard Dweomerkeeper Shadowcraft Mage Teflemar (sp?) Shadowlord...

Pricing of a modified Rod of Withering?

<Nod> I guess the two save mechanic just rubs me for being unfamiliar.

Sudden Shift: What maneuverability when flying?

Well, they sure don't give one. I'd give them poor or average maneuverability myself as you are basically sprouting wings for a turn.
