How much thought do you give names?

    Your favorite Doctor (who)

Well it's kind of hard on the old Doctors, but The new series have been better made, tons less Aluminum Foil for instance... Messers Eccleston and Tennant are also more more natural, modern style actors. I still dig the old school, but of the two... jeez... It's 1 and 1a for me on 9th and...

Comte Kraelian Liadon De Brise-Crete nom de guerre "Rabelais" 6 years. 2000-2006. It was the only character I played consistently with v3.0, then for a couple more years in 3.5. It was a LOOOOONG Campaign. ;)

Methods for Handing Out More Feats

Our group goes with a feat per level. We've abandoned all pretense of balance, and have gone with Gestalt as well.. It's kinda fun being a superhero.

    How mediaeval is D&D, anyway?

Instantaneous travel and communication? Check Universal Literacy (at least in 'civilized' lands)? for pete's sake, it's spelled out in the PHB that everybody can speak and write their native language. Check Governments organized on something other than familial relationships? Mostly so...
