And the Iron Man is ... Robert Downey, Jr.?

Actually, I think it could really work. Robert Downey Jr. is (was?) a great actor given the proper tools. People remember Chaplin, but do they remember US Marshals? Eccch. If the script is good, there's not another actor in Hollywood that can capture the Dark and tortured better then this guy.

The Doomed Bastards: Reckoning (story complete)

So assuming that the party entered at noon... two of the party are dead before 2pm? Yikes. I wonder where the elf got off to?

    Tiny PC races

The Faen Spryte is the way to go. Flight speed 30, High Dex. If you can get your strength up to around 10 or so, you won't have any encumberance issues to speak of, as long as you're packing around tiny sized gear that is.... They make even more fun when templated as a Half-Dragon :)

The Doomed Bastards: Reckoning (story complete)

Somehow, the fact that they're less likeable makes them more... I dunno... Likeable? More HUMAN anyway :)

What to see at a mage fair?

If it's anything like the Ren Fair I went to a couple of years ago... there will be some drunk guys singing WAY off key... some people dressed up like Drow elves lots of kids dressed like pirates and mega-gallons of really BAD MEAD Seriously though, don't ignore the people that really...

How many people in a 250 year old Graveyard?

I don't care if it makes into the 4e MM... What I really want is the plastic, painted mini :)

Does Burning Hands set creatures on fire?

I'd say that under ordinary circumstances you won't have to worry about setting the forest alight. The fire is instantaneous, but it IS fire. Lets say for instance you're pursuing a Arqbuzir Mercenary through the woods, and you drop an empowered, widened fireball on his flammable tushy...

How many people in a 250 year old Graveyard?

Wow... This has been very, very helpful! I hadn't considered family plots elsewhere. I'm going to use this I can have several smaller gravesites. Like the one out by the abandoned farm north of town. heh heh heh I am pretty certain that Taren's Ferry will remain a pretty small town. So...

How many people in a 250 year old Graveyard?

Taren's Ferry is a gentle brooklined, farming community (mainly apples and tobacco) It may or may not be ground zero for an Asteroid strike/Githyanki Invasion And Drowbane, just because I asked you to bring 500 Skeleton/Zombie/ghoul/Ghast/Spectre/Wight miniatures to tomorrow night's game...

How many people in a 250 year old Graveyard?

Most of the population in Taren's Ferry is human, some demihuman. Outward migration can keep the overall population low. thanks for the assist everybody :) 500 is lowish, but not out of the question.

    Circling the Wagons

I agree... having the teamsters run off would actually put them at more risk of being attacked. Circling the wagons is an important tactic. Watch out for those AoE spells though.

Time Travel: My Players Stay Out!

The epic level wizard would be limited to "Eeek! Look Out!" "Oh Gawds... It's coming this way!" I would allow magic, but consider the implications of accurate firearms. I'll tell ya though... Nazi's make great faceless enemies. /theme to Raiders of the Lost Ark

How many people in a 250 year old Graveyard?

Just trying to get a sense of how many people would be buried in a 250 year old graveyard if the population of the town was approximately 150. I'm thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 or so, but it seems a little high to me. any ideas?

    Gestalt and ECL

I'm pretty sure Were(Beast) is a leveled progression as well. Not sure how many levels though... The Were template would be the other half of the Gestalt. ie. Fire Giant/ Were Template

    Swordfish: Gabriel Shear - Alignment?

In the absence of Swordfish II (perish the thought), there would have to be additional information regarding his objectives If he States that he wants to destroy evil by committing evil acts to increase Order, it does not follow that he is actually being Lawful... Chaos is as Chaos does. At...

    Swordfish: Gabriel Shear - Alignment?

There are only two reasons to watch this movie... and neither are under discussion here. Sweet Baby Jebus this movie was awful. I would say Chaotic Evil...maybe NE, but closer to CE.

Creating a govement based on D&D reality

Orcs, Gnolls, Hobgoblins, Kobolds, Halflings There are so many different races, and some of them are nomadic/Semi-nomadic, and most of them are entirely hostile. Governments are incapable of exercising power outside of their spheres of influence. Even presuming that there's a powerful central...
