Has anyone posted the character sheets from DDXP?

I on the other hand can't wait. Also, that one power could be vice specific. The design mentality is to design one good power so you eliminate the literally dozens of say fighter powers that DON'T get picked at each level. Though I admit this too has met with varying degrees of success...

Has anyone posted the character sheets from DDXP?

Curious to know how greatly the revenant might have changed, if at all (other than a 3rd stat bump option).

    Runepriests

The Runepriest's entry in the compendium should read: A great thematic class, embarrassed mechanically at every level by every other Leader class. Runepriests make Artificers look stunning. Build a Warpriest (from our new evergreen Essentials books now in a store near you; while there, check...

    Input on a Dragonborn Executioner

Well an Executioner handbook is on the Character Optimization forums on the WotC site. Whoops! Browser Settings Incompatible If you're looking to optimize the character that's where I'd go. Also there's rules and suggestions through out. Also, anything else is up to the player. You won't start...

    January and Beyond!

I think the race as some mechanically troubling weaknesses. I doubt I'd ever play this race as a rogue (despite the Dex modifier option) and the "stealth" standard action... thematically it fits, I guess, but I'd rather be far, far away from combat with Cha/Int based powers. Still, From what I...

"New Design Math" for Monsters....which books exactly?

http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/UpdateJuly2010.pdf I believe this update/errata from July has the actual math in it.

    Daily Power new rule ?

As dumb as this might sound, I think they did it to bridge the "gap" between DM and player. To get players to think more about the DM and vice versa. I could be way off. I don't see an actually game play reason behind it (simplifying one aspect to make another involve more effort doesn't even...

eAssassin - how does damage scale against monster hp

Unfortunately, the new Executioner relies on the exact same tricks as many other of the essentials classes. Not that it's a bad thing. It's "super-effective" to quote Pokemon (and to blaspheme). Charge things to death. Multi-class into rogue/fighter. Pick up Surprising Charge (Rogue or...

    Final Assassin Dra#394

Dungeons & Dragons Roleplaying Game Official Home Page - Article (Assassin: Executioner) It looks like they've went BACK to the original play test and really gave the final Assassin back its legs. It's a pretty awesome article. I look forward to the article that explains that previous/terrible...

Ha wow. Teach me to read a little closer. My cursory glance at that was wrong. Thanks for the catch.

Incomplete Hunter and Hexblade classes in DDi Compendium?

Hexblades and hunters are complete. Just not in one entry. You can look up any power of theirs. Type in Aspect of the Pouncing Lynx. It's there. It just takes a bit longer to build characters by that method.

    New products?

Just to state some things that WotC has mentioned in Dragon editorials and so on, the numbered books (PHB3, MP2, DMG2) weren't really effectively marketable. This is why the books have more elaborate names that don't even really mean anything. "Player's Essentials: Heroes of the Fallen Lands" is...

    Runepriest Article Bumped Again!

Live and AWFUL What an interesting mechanic wasted on A) specifically 1 tier and B)Has no benefits for party members (effectively making them NOT leaders). Nine months without an ounce of support for the class and this is it? I'm usually not one to hate on WotC or their content. I'm usually...

Monster Builder (the non-online one) gets a patch!

I can only speculate. This was brought to my attention by a thread on the WotC forums. But they're there, in the monster builder. Heck the Advanced DMG is the first one to pop up. I can only snoop around and ask questions, but I doubt there will be answers concerning unreleased products.

Monster Builder (the non-online one) gets a patch!

Actually, if you look through the Monster Builder by source, you'll see: Advanced Dungeon Master's Guide Player Options: Heroes of the Feywild Never Winter Nights Campaign Setting Expansions for the Ravenloft game and some other books we already knew about (Heroes of Shadow, and D&D Gazetteer)...

    December Calendar

I think they're having trouble filling the calender with content. That's what the last couple editorials and the really what the current one is about. I think they're underpowered and it's showing. There are some good things, albeit the Dungeon content is light. I'll finally dust off my...
