Here's the thing, though. The conversation *has* to focus on gender. Race maybe not as much, but definitely, totally gender. That's what I'm saying. You can't get to the end goal of a safer, more welcoming hobby without talking about it.

Do you realize that's the same goal shared by those you're arguing with? The main difference is that we don't think we're there yet. And we can't get there by pretending we are.
