    Ranger vs Warlock

Another difference is that the extra damage from Hunter's Quarry applies only once per round, while the curse may apply more times (if you make several attacks against a curse foe, for example after using an action point).

    D&D 4E Distanicies in 4E

Oh, I found my answer in another thread. Sorry for the spam. Quote: Everything is cubic. If it's a burst 1 ability it affects the main square and all the squares around it. If its a burst 2 ability, it affects the main square and two squares around it. Etc... Not sure how lightning bolts would...

    Warlock - Shadow Walk

So if he finishes his turn 3+ squares away from where he started it, he gains the effect? Edit: And another question - what benefits concealment grants in 4E?

    D&D 4E Distanicies in 4E

Okay, diagonal movement now costs 1 point. However, does this apply to measuring distances for abilities/powers? For example, the Hunter may designate the nearest foe as its quarry. D&D Experience: Questions YOU Want Answered?

My question: What does a ranged weapon entry like "XX square normal/YY square max" mean? My guess is that you shoot to XX squares without penalty and up to YY with a penalty, but can you confirm this?

D&D 4E Anyone knows how ranged weapons work in 4e?

Duh! Figured this out 5 minutes after I posted. Of course!

D&D 4E Anyone knows how ranged weapons work in 4e?

Looking at the character sheets, it seems that the ranged weapons have entries like: "20 squares normal / 40 squares max". I guess this means that you shoot up to 20 squares with no penalty and up to 40 with a penalty (-2, -5 or something). Can anyone that has played in the game confirm this...
