    Reducing arcane spell failure?

This is more house rules, but in our campaign we have a series of feats that grant more and more reduction in ASF. Starts at 5%, then 10%, and finally 20%. Each feat requires a higher armor proficiency. So, it looks like... Feat 1 Requires: Light Armor Proficency Benefit: 5% reduction Feat...

New Magic Weapon Type "Mighty Wounding"

Not sure what the previous poster meant... but it looks fine for a +3 weapon too me. Sort of a combination of old school wounding and the new one. Strangly, as powerful as wounding appears to be, nobody in our group has even thought to go buy one for some reason.

    Elseworlds D&D 4th Edition

Seems more like a simplification of the rules than a fourth edition. I like the feat chains though, wish there were more of them in D&D

    Lucky Dice?

That die sounds better than lucky, it sounds broken.

    Changed Weapon Focus and Specialisation

I was supprised they did not make the greater versions in 3.5 slightly better other than that they stacked. I would have made them as follows... WF: +1 to attack WS: +2 to damage IWF: +2 to attack (total +3) IWS: +4 to damage (total +6) and add requirement of improved critical GWF: +3 to attack...

Why is the Extra Rings feat designated an Item Creation feat?

So they can wear lots of rings of wizardry?

    [ITW] New feats!

So based on those feats, would it be ok to make a feat as the following...? Negative Energy Resistance Prerequisite: Living Benefit: You gain resistance to negative energy 10 etc etc. Seems too good too me. Also, what does the Monsterous feat subtype mean? Not for PC's? Seems arbitrary if so.

Paladin of Torm / PCs Frustrated with Cormyr

When a giant dragon attacks the city dont be supprised if they sit back and dont do anything. After all, they dont have an adventuring writ to act upon! They are just obeying the law's. At least that's what our party would do :]

    A real two-bladed sword!

It may be real in that it was created... but I doubt anyone ever actually used it in combat. Or that it's even that useful.

Question: Warhulk mega hits + RoS:Knockback and Raging bullrush feats?

It is a cool image, but I'd be tempted to say that the bullrush/knockback only affects the first person you attack since it says that a Critical hit or Sneak Attack follows that rule.

    Dracotaur Hulking Hurler

Well, you will only have 2 levels to play with at 10th level, since the Dracotaur costs 8 (3HD + 5LA). So you are looking for a Dracotaur Fighter 2 at this point. With such low HD (only 5 at level 10) I would focus on maxing out Con so that you have some staying power, and then Str to make up...

Exalted wild shape - blink dog & dimension door

Thats how it works. We havent had any trouble with it, but it is good for casters being able to dimension door and blink. I think a more abusable combo for Druids is the Phantom Fungus plant shape and anti life shell spell.

[perhaps slightly OT] Steve Jackson's Munchkin

You havent really played Munchkin until you add in all 3 Munchkin decks, Star Munchkin and Munchkin-Fu, then tie them together with the brand new Munchkin Blender and the expanded classes and abilities from the books! Good play by the way. I hate that card.

    Born with no arms?

Interesting idea, but it does seem unplayable to me. Have fun with it. The closest I ever came to this was with an extreemly high level, very old monk who after being a grand champion for too long, cut off one of his arms to level the playing field.

    Most versatile single class

Druid gets a big edge. Insanely good Combat abilities with wild shape and animal growth and other buffs. They get more skill points per level than Clerics, heal well, free animal companion, and have plently of blasty spells. They even get flame strike earlier. Combine all that with the ability...

    Correct CR?

I'm making a high level adventure for the first time for my players. We have never gone above 12th level. The last adventure I ran for 11th level PC's was in parts too easy due to large hoards of CR 5-7 monsters, but then impossible at one point due to a CR 12 Advanced Clay Golem that was only...

10th through 21st tier spells, please help

Epic spells are only good at Reeally epic levels, like 40+ when the rules start to break down even more. Before that you are almost always better stacking on metamagic feats to existing spells. Empowered Maximized Energy Admixtured Meteor Swarm? 18th level spell. Does something around 300+25d6...

Did the Witch King use a morning star or flail

It was a Flail designed after Saurons Mace. Sort of hard to describe here, I'll try to find a picture. I always thought morning stars were on sticks, not flails anyway. Edit: An awesome minitaure of him... http://www.futurespace.co.kr/wwwb/data/pds/Witch_King_Fellbeast.gif And him showing...

Crossbows and why the rules shortchange them.

Well, most plate armor was angled in such a way on the breast plate as to deflect arrows/bolts/swords. A show on the History channel showed how plate armor made in the 1400's could deflect .22 calibur bullets shot from a handgun. It ended up being because most guns we fire today (exlcuding most...
