Interesting thread guys. I liked both the Neverwinter game and the campaign sourcebook myself. If the initial 4E FR campaign setting had been more like the Neverwinter one I think people would have had a whole lot less problems with it.

I finally got mine two days ago and guess what: wavy paper and dented spine.

I've had the same thing happen with my DMG from Amazon (ordered the 10th). The latest ETA I had was the 20th so when that came and went I called them. They couldn't (or wouldn't) tell me what was going on. Very frustrating.

I think you may be on to something Aramis. It kinda looks that way. If Organized play is in the Driver's Seat though, they need to clarify this with the fans because alot of people are still under the impression that novels and rpg sourcebooks are how the Realms are shaped.

Another thing that has me confused about 5E is how WOTC can have open, honest communication about the game during development but they can't be bothered to talk about the Realms.

For the most part, I really like the 5E art but I agree with you guys that alot of the halfling art looks horrible.

I'm glad they realize they messed up and lost the fans' faith in their stewardship of the Realms. What are they doing to restore our confidence? If they want us to tell them what we like about the Realms and then they focus on that...how is that supposed to work? How are they going to elicit...
