Is there anything specific from Paladin you want? If you want spell-casting, I'd suggest going some kind of Cleric over Paladin. That said, I'd also likely just take Heavy Armor Mastery. DR is great if you're the one deliberately taking all the hits, then perhaps Sentinel at 8.

I'm leaning towards Relentless Harrier (which can also be used in melee) and Multi-attack Defense (as many creatures around that level will have at least two attacks). Escape the Horde is okay, but I think the Defense one will see more mileage.

Radiance Monk and and Undying Warforged, eh...

Yeah, sorry, I thought Rage increased Str and Con; forgot that it doesn't in this edition.

Depends how much of a jerk your DM is. If you have an 18 STR, rage, then shift into a creature with 16 STR, it could be ruled that the new STR _replaces_ your old STR and might not apply to the now improved STR. But I doubt anyone would rule like that.

For the record, I'd be interested in Dwarven Runecaster if this game happens. :)
