Ok, so there's a 3 man bench. From looking at the site I thought all roster spots were active.

What are you listening to at the moment?

You said it in your first sentence.....selection. I also used Real Music, which has many different selections than iTunes. I used Rhapsody for a while because someone bought me a subscription as a gift. I've used others too. Just before my computer crashed someone referred me to a service...

No "injured" slot though? Seriously, if not it makes you think twice about guys like Kirilenko or McGrady.

    Training to Level

Didn't Alexander the Great conquer the known world by the time he was 19. ;) He did have some of the greatest trainers and tutors ever though. I like your ideas and the general concept of having players "live a life" rather than simply be adventurers and nothing else.

    Training to Level

In theory this seems like a logical separation but it does seem like it might become a bit cumbersome. Anyone had any success implementing a system like this?

Do you know of any music services that do let you redownload songs? If so, what are they?

What are you listening to at the moment?

On the other hand, I used I-tunes without having an IPod. I also used other music services.

Technically speaking, and in terms of game mechanics, no, xp do not in themselves provide bonuses. However, without xp you cannot advance, with or without a system that requires training. In that sense xp do make you better. I don't think there's any arguing that point whether you favour...

Albert Pujols circa 2001? Even if it's true he's an exception, not the rule. Really liked your baseball analogy though. Spot on in terms of justfying training to level.

What are you listening to at the moment?

Can everyone please stop saying how many music files you have on I-tunes? My hard drive crashed recently, or got jolted by a lightning bolt or something, and I lost probably close to 2,000 music files, not all I-tunes. I'm bummed and your bragging is bumming me out more. I had burned a bunch...

    Training to Level

I disagree, I think it can be a real situation if you conceptualize it that way in-game. It doesn't have to detract from actual playing time because it's very easy to gloss over and flip the campaign calendar page ahead. It's even relatively simple to resolve training and "downtime" activities...

    Training to Level

I think that's what diaglo was hinting at. Maybe not initial hp, but I think you can rationalize an increase in hp as being attributable to training, apart from the CON bonus. The whole month of grueling fights does make you better. It gives you xp which allows you to level (an...

    Training to Level

In our 3.5 and OD&D games we get xp between sessions regardless of where we stop. We've even stopped mid-battle before. We've also had instances where PCs had enough xp to level but events in the game were urgent enough to keep on without levelling. As a player I honestly don't have any...

I'm at work listening to AM sports talk radio. 790 the Zone.

    Training to Level

In our current 3.5 Greyhawk campaign the DM ruled before we started play that PCs must train, ala OD&D, in order to level. One of the players is a little bit hacked off about this since he has enough XP to level but is stuck in a crypt and can't train. I think he assumes it will be easier to...

    Fantasy Football '08 (NFL American)- Redraft - Yahoo Server Crashed - 9/5 10 est/7pst

I'd be willing to bet that Parcels didn't want to put up with his nonsense and that acquiring TO was a Jerry Jones move.

And here I was thinking Shaun Alexander was a steal at 5! You just never know. Ok, TO has a history, but this is new. No telling what's next. Speaking of TO, I just have to say that I have an inside source. My neighbor teaches pilates and yoga. TO took her yoga class during the offseason...

I'm in as "Ragnarok". One rules question here. I've never played on Yahoo before and only H2H in the past. Is the 82 game limit per roster spot? If so, does it apply to the Utility spot as well? Is there an IR slot?
