Oh no, this is just speculation on my part. Like treebore said, Goodman is a smart guy and I dont believe for a second he would do something as foolish as try to publish without a license or go against a GSL arrangement.
So the only option left is a special license.
Then again I could be...
Yeah this point is what always get me when people denounce the evils of the GSL. There are other venues out there and there have always been. One of the only attractive qualities of the OGL (and now GSL) is that it was free. Not with a restrictive GSL, only serious publishers will try to...
He just negotiated a special license. GSL is if you want to do 4E D&D stuff for free, you can always negotiate a special license paying up royalties ( like you normally have to do for every other product in the market) for use of the IP/System.
Any company can do this. Actually I think that...
Do we really need another forum split?
What's next? one forum each for OD&D, 1st, 2nd, and so on and so forth?
And yeah, the 'Kneepads' comments was way out of line, and quite insulting for people who like 4E.
But being #36 is good hard factual data of how well it is selling. This is an indicator that it is doing good, and those that like 4E rejoice in the notion that their game line is doing good. A game line doing good means more support and extra goodies. And its also a good counter argument...
Okay I am 'Itunes' challenged, under what do I search for this?
(I tried under PVP and WOTC but only episode 3 is up)
edit: nvm its here:

Okay I understand it, I get it.
You don't like 4E, heck I may dare say that you abhorr and loathe 4E.
What I can't understand, if you detest 4E so much why are you posting in a 4E rules forum?
Why?
Thanks everyone who posted answers, I had read the stacking section but I wanted to be sure I got it right. Sometimes you think something works one way but it really works another way.
Anyways I think I got it now, thanks.
Untyped stack.
Okay so if a player is being attacked by 2 rat swarms and both hit, does the player no has 6 ongoing damage because the damage is untyped?
mSwarm of Teeth (standard; at-will)
+6 vs. AC; 1d6 + 3 damage, and ongoing 3 damage (save ends).
How do the stacking rules work?
What stacks and what doesn't?
What about special monster abilities? does ongoing damage stack?
What about poison or disease?
Yup..you just know its 4E hate when it receives 40% 1 star..and it has 40% with 4 stars or more?
I get it that you dont like 4e, but you could at least be honest in your review.
I think the reviews at Paizo are going the same way:
50% 2 stars o less
50% 4 stars or more
I guess some people...
