Well I would wager WoTC does not consider the OGL a contract and most contracts don’t last forever.

Some of these posters have hated WoTC and the general direction of D&D for years and this is cover to further their crusade. Not saying that is everyone. Some people have well reasoned legit concerns.

I think this is pretty ridiculous. Arbitration is expensive for one and you don’t see brands like LoTR or Marvel offering arbitration to decide things when they don’t like how their licensees use their brand.

I don’t know that it is cause and effect. A lot of the stock drop started prior to the OGL debacle.

Let’s face it for the majority of people on this forum nothing short of nothing will change. all will be the same forever is going to be ok. Not sure how fair that is though. Times change and 20 years is a long time. Much of the rest of the world has shifted dramatically in two decades...

I think in a rush to hate WoTC it was easy for people to forget a lot of people working there are truly dedicated and care about D&D.

Totally agree. It’s like people on this site forget most videos and content on the internet are made to gather attention which is best done with controversy.
