    That's the way I'd do it as well. There's also the option of letting the caster choose the square and then randomly determining which corner to use - but that works better for distance spells (like fireball).

    Armor of Nimbleness?

    I need a higher Max Dex on my mithril shirt and can't recall which book the "Nimbleness" modification comes from (or whether it made it into 3.5). Could someone point me to the source please? I believe that it ups the Max Dex of a suit of armor by 2, for the price of a +1 enhancement.

    This does "d6+caster level (max +15)" to something that touches you. If empowered, is the "caster level" part also increased? If so, is it still limited to +15?

    I'll second that. It just doesn't make sense that Enemy A can be killed just because Enemy B drunk a potion.

    Armor as DR, your experiences

    That looks a lot like d20 Star Wars, except for the multipliers (nothing is multipliedin d20 SW). Having a crit go straight to wounds and multiply damage seems far too deadly. Maybe it would be ok for d8 and d6 weapons though (rather than th 3d6 blasters I'm used too :) ).

    The general rule for critical hits is to multiply bonuses (like strength and power attack) but not bonus dice (like sneak attacks or lawful damage).

    I'd second what is said above. Starships, Equipment, Hero's Guide, Power of the Jedi. You can run for quite a while with just the Core though (assuming you do your own setting detail).

    What about mixing Star-Wars d20 and D&D?

    The Fading Suns setting by Hollistic does a great job of mixing sci-fi with medivalism. It would not be much of a jump from there to fantasy.

    Even if it is set in "modern" times, it is still an imaginary world governed by your imagination. A generator works exactly like the GM thinks it should work, regardless of how they work in 'real life'. As GM, take your best guess and stick to it. Don't let players throw "reality" in your face...

    The Force vs Spell Resistance

    The level of spell (ie. Magic Missile vs Fireball) does not affect the caster level check for overcoming SR, so I do no think that the number of ranks in a Force Skill should be a factor either. If you have a lot of ranks but few Force use levels, then you are very skilled with that one...

    On a similar note, does anyone happen to know if there is going to StarWars d20 update to that "Starships of the Galaxy" book? I'm making up ships myself, and that's a good a guideline as any, but it seems it should be updated to "d20 SW Revised" by now...
