Yes, but I see that as meaning sleep is a subset of the unconscious condition. No where in the wizard's spell does it say you're asleep; it says you're unconscious. I may be reading too much into this. Our house rule: If you take damage while under magical sleep, you wake up. Wis

The RAW says unconscious. Not asleep. There is no asleep condition. There is also no rules on how to "wake" an unconscious character (he makes his save vs. a spell if that's what caused it, or after a short rest). This is a very powerful spell at 1st level. Dare I say broken? Wis

Agreed, which is why I stated that in the OP. Also note - this isn't a case of post count envy. Some of the people on that list have (relatively) low post counts, but those folks (generally) are the ones with campaign story hours devoured by hundreds or more EN Worlders. W.P.
