Thanks for the responses. I have the newest version and I tried Foxit. And I've saved it to my HD and am not browsing on the web. Still very, very slow. I think we can safely say it's the PDF and not the reader, since Foxit is slow as well. I doubt it's my laptop because other PDFs are fine...
