If these pdfs are like all the others of RPGNow, you get notified if the product is updated and you can just download the updated copy again. I seriously doubt WotC would charge you for the update! :) Buy once, get all the updates free. Pinotage

Well, the Ice Flows one, for example, contained mechanics for moving across ice flows. These were for example, DC 15 to do this or DC 20 to do that. It's aimed at 3.5e/4e since the DC mechanic is part of both systems, and can likely be used for both, but at the same time I think it's generic...

Given the fact that this is likely done by copyright, it'll essentially be entirely systemless. I've looked at the Venture 4th Ice Flows pdf and the material in there is fairly systemless but easy to use as is for OGL/3.5e stuff. Pinotage
