Not a bad idea. I've toying around with making the initial save DC higher (between +2 and +5) and leaving the secondary save as is.

After watching my poor dracolich get mowed down I gave some serious thought to either giving all undead Unholy Toughness or making it a feat. How about a magic item that grants Unholy Toughness? Any thoughts on pricing/creation?

Land of the Lost was my first exposure to sci-fi as a kid, so it was a must buy for me (the first two seasons anyway). I thought it held up well, but my wife was like "meh". :\

QFT. I also miss the "old style" Ecology articles, especially the ones by Jonathan Richards (see his .sig for some rejected articles he posted on EN World last year). The new style is too dry for my tastes, though I do like the info available with a Knowledge check sidebar.

For future reference, WotC has a Consolidated Lists Archive that is very useful. Click on the monster list and be sure to search for it like this: "golem, chain" which is how it would be alphabetized in the book.

How would you price a metamagic rod that is only useable for a specific spell? Let's say an enlarged grease spell. A lesser enlarge rod would cost 3,000 gp and works for any spell 3rd level or lower, so it should definitely cost less than that. Thanks.

I did find this place: Charlie's Comic Book Shop 1675 White Mountain Hwy North Conway, NH Some gaming stuff, lots of collectible stuff, and as the name implies, comics. It's sort of hard to find as it's near the back of a strip of stores. Park at Friendly's and walk over.
