Would it be possible for an arcane caster to ready an action to cast gust of wind to counter a green dragon's breath weapon?

I haven't played CoC in a few years, but I'd guess that is a house rule of some sort.

One of my players asked if he could buy a scroll bandolier that let's him draw a scroll as a free action. I'm pretty sure that there is such an item, but I can't remember which book it's in. Could someone refresh my memory?

Just curious... how many people that already have the books are going to buy this? Myself, I can't see buying it just to have the books updated and/or with errata.

I bought 2 cases and didn't get one, but pretty much everyone I've talked to got one or more... heck, one guy got 5! Of course he'd already pawned them off on eBay before I could get one from him. :(

I bought the Grut Orcs expansion for Heroscape to use in my table top D&D game. The scale is pretty much the same as DDM. I haven't played Heroscape itself though. I love the look of the Dreamblade figs, but if they aren't to scale (especially the bases from what I've heard) with the DDM figs...

Has the 2nd edition spell Skull Trap been updated to 3.x? Couldn't find a mention of it other than in conjunction with CRPGs. If not, do you think the old version is balanced for 3.x as is? Thanks.

Can't get much more permanent than permanency. ;) It is vulnerable to being dispelled, but it would be cheaper than creating a magic item that enlarges you permanently.
