Good point. Skip the GSL thing but it will have to be something that will work with the core rules or any other material specifically listed. Like if Goodman has something coming out that could work with that month's theme. Anything that will work on its own as is, no house rules.

Had a chance to sleep on it and revised the plan a little. Each month will have a theme posted in an edition of CA at the start of a month. This will allow everyone interested a chance to bone up on those rules and memorize as much as possible. Individual contests centered around this theme...

If Scooby-Doo has taught us nothing, it's that you fight fire with fire. Have the PCs dress up a ghost themselves (for that scenario) and scare the goblins away. A nice skill challenge to pull this off, fight a few stragglers, and everyone has a good laugh at the end.

That would be brilliant. I'm hoping to send my players back to a city they spent a lot of time in years ago and show them how much its changed since their actions. For these guys, it would mean even more to savour and reflect.

Demons are the first to mind. Reckless with a huge swarm of them clearly up to no good. It would be a quick, easy sell to the players without any need for a huge backstory. If they're epic level (or paragon for that matter), toss in a name like Graz'zt and they'll have two hammers in each hand...

Cool, thanks. That one (along with Book of Alignment) was a personal project for me and the first one I've ever done. I've been thinking about doing it again, but it's a toss up between Pathfinder and 4e.
