    City-building PC games

Why not just drop $20 on SimCity 4?

    Dragon Age 2

Ah. Makes sense. I haven't played much in about 5-6 months so I'm having difficulty remembering the names but the thread on CM (kinda long) has a bunch of really good ones and that's where I caught on to them. :) One of them identified who the gifts were optimized for. One removed some of...

    Dragon Age 2

Not that I'm a big fan of GI, but they were spot on with that one. I played about 20-30 hours on the Xbox and was sick of not having the top-down isometric view. Got the PC version and never looked back. Also, there are some mods for the PC that I simply couldn't live without now.

Inception - Thumbs Up or Down?

    That's pretty key. :)

    Dragon Age 2

Agreed. Dragon Age in particular gains a ton on the PC.

Inception - Thumbs Up or Down?

Something tells me that you came into the flick with expectations that weren't met and that weren't the fault of the movie. As for The Matrix comparison? They haven next to nothing in common except for both being in the fantasy/science fiction genre. Inception is a love story disguised a...

Ravenloft or HeroQuest for my kids?

I would recommend against Descent for a 5 year old. Heroquest is much better for that age and requires no nerfing or simplifying of the rules. Descent is for down the line.

Ravenloft or HeroQuest for my kids?

Heroquest. Then get Ravenloft later when funds allow. No brainer!

    DC Gameday VII -- October 9th and 10th, 2010

Unless we simply have more people and GM's combined than the space allows I don't see a problem. :)

    Best "Dungeon Crawl" Board Game(s)?

Me either. It's a great co-op game but doesn't lend itself to campaign play. FF does have the Arkham League Seasons on their website and they are a sorta "campaign" but not in the traditional sense as none of the characters level up. That's not exactly right. The "GM" role is the Overload and...

    Dragon Age: Origins

I've heard that feature is numero uno on Bioware's to-do list.

    It's called "wabbiting". B-)

    Babylon 5

S5 is a mixed bag but by no means did I consider it a waste of time. A few WTF eps mixed in with some other things that I really like that have already been mentioned in this thread.

Inception - Thumbs Up or Down?

    How to use BB code.

Inception - Thumbs Up or Down?

Bummer. I still think that narrowing it down to one answer strips the movie of it's true genius.

Whatcha gonna run? Whatcha wanna play?

I'm a pretty rules light kinda GM with a heavy focus on characters and I tend to run things that I know and am comfy with. So I'm probably out for a new system but I won't rule it out. :)

Pirates of the Caribbean 4 - Coming in 2011

If it's a good story, so what? It's all just entertainment in the end.

Whatcha gonna run? Whatcha wanna play?

It's all a matter of me coming up with a concept and characters that I like. :) Good to know there's interest!

    Question for PS3 owners

For online play the 360 is ahead of the PS3 in all areas of multiplayer. It should be considering they charge for it.
