May '10: What Are You Playing?

The only game I'm really playing right now is MLB 10 The Show (PS3). I booted up Shadow Complex (360) a little while back as well. What a great game. :) I really wish they'd go back and release more games for the RPG series and forget about the online stuff. One of these days I'm gonna go...

It's been over a year since the last time we did this. So ... what games are you playing? :D

    BSG Saturday Evening

Not a bad point. Still, I'd say 7pm is a better time because of dinners and based on when other CM/ENW games will be wrapping up. Typically the afternoon slots are 2-6pm. I wasn't suggesting changing the day. I'm seeing who else will be around Tuesday night who may be interested in playing BSG.

Also, who's going to be around Tuesday? This may be perfect for that night.

    BSG Saturday Evening

I can't commit to any time slots at this point but a 7pm start time sound more like something I can make as many of the other games will be ending at 6pm. I'm also seeing what time the CoC game is going on to see if I can play at all.

    Where are the NEW games?

You can still play PS1 games. :) But you can't eliminate those. Also, you are leaving out a few big companies list like Lionhead, Bethesda and games like Demon's Souls. It's a great thing that there are so many RPGs on the DS but it's far from the only game in town especially when it only...

    Where are the NEW games?

The PS3, well my PS3 anyway, has access to the entire PS2 & PS1 library of RPGs. ;) It really depends on what kind of RPG you are looking for. The DS has a ton of JRPGs but is lacking elsewhere.

    Where are the NEW games?

I disagree. Staying with the DS you'll miss games like Dragon Age and Mass Effect and that's just to start. There are plenty of excellent RPGs on all platforms right now, not just the DS.

    Where are the NEW games?

I wasn't referring to the OP. Sounds like you are getting way down the line of thought to the point where it needs it's own thread. Just sayin'.

    Where are the NEW games?

Um. What does that have to do with anything we're talking about?

Mass Effect Game - Friday 9am - 1pm ONE SPACE LEFT

I liked it, too. But then again it was one of my favorite GMs running it so I'm biased. :)

    Where are the NEW games?

Pointlessly pointing out that we are on the internet doesn't mean that there are more monitors out there than TVs. Nor does it reduce the entry price of gaming for PCs versus consoles which is the whole point of the conversation.

    BSG Saturday Evening

    1. MATH IS HARD!!!! 2. What Rod said. Personally, I love playing the Cylon Leader but it's NOT a character for people who haven't played a ton. Also, I can imagine the game taking forever with 7 players. But yeah, technically we could get a game with 7 per table. Personally, I think the...

    BSG Saturday Evening

With two games we can have 12 total players at two tables. If we can keep these games under 3 hours that'd be fantastic. :)

    Co-op game recommendations

I finally cracked open the Pandemic "On the Brink" expansion over the weekend and played with 5 people. High marks from the whole table. Certainly better than the base game with the expanded roles even though that's the only thing we used from it along with the new Special player cards.

    Where are the NEW games?

Those are three huge activities that can all be shared by multiple users at the same time. Most households have a TV. The same cannot be said for a computer monitor. I'll strike "working" off that list since we're talking about entertainment devices here. And since video games also falls into...
