I would like to see an activity log perhaps. Somthing to tell me I'm not trying to talk to/invite someone that hasn't been on for a bazillion years or so. Having been stopped by postal code verification because I'm Canadian, Id like to make sure that it can accept any postal code.

Well, I think that WoTC is trying to do their best with a smaller staff and less money than they orriginally had. They might be too buisy trying to catch up with all the content they promiced us 2 years (or more) ago to bother going back and creating some kind of 3pp input manager. I'm guessing...

It bugged me when I first set up my 4e shelf (as opposed to my 4e pile of books) but I got over it.

Has anyone here tried the Kindle for RPG books? I've been considering buying one for quite some time, but I want more than Amazon's own canned reviews of THEIR system to go on.

As far as public announcements go, nobody has filled the role yet. But I don't know anyone on the inside either, so if somone IS there, WoTC is hiding this person well.

Yes, but did every single player create a fighter specialized in longsword every single time? Probably not. Every character I see and DM for is completely optimized to "perfection". I blame the internet.

This might just be my group I'm talking about, but I miss seeing characters that were NOT optimized. You know, the characters that were CHARACTERS, not just modifiers and dice.

My first character sheet was one of my first DMs old characters, erased with smudges and his old stats still indented in the paper. That sheet went on to house 3 more characters after as well. They were good times!

Well, I think its because all the higher level NPCs are bound to their place in the world, completely unable to move or even so much as talk unless you poke them. They get you to poke them by activating the only power they have... ! Now, go kill 10 wolves...
