[Chapter 1 - OOC] Iron Lords of Jupiter

I'm afraid so. I'm going to have to declare this game over, due to lack of interest.

    Skill increasing feats worth it?

You guys are COMPLETELY ignoring a HUGE group of characters that really need those feats. NPC's. The shopkeeper, the blacksmith, the prime minister... they just don't need combat or spellcasting feats. I, as an author and DM, applaud the inclusion of the skill-boosting feats in 3.5.

Have your players abused intelligent items yet?

I have this image in my head of a greatsword receiving a spanking over the knee of a scorched fighter. "Bad hellblade! Bad! No polish for a month! That'll teach you to flame burst in the middle of a lamp oil factory."

    Big armors

I'd say that as the armor gets bigger, you're not bashing through it as much as you're slipping through the gaps.

    Outsourcing

Ultimately, the only jobs that have any security are in the direct services sector (that is, jobs that do services directly for people)... that's education, medicine, retail, that kind of thing. Anything else can be exported for cheap. Most of those jobs pay really lousy. Those that don't...

DOGS OF WAR - Game starting in January, Northern Virginia

Demonsmouth Pass has been the single greatest threat the Kingdom of Aethgar has known in two hundred years of history. Not only does it connect the fertile Rishac valley to the barbarous Plains of Klaz, but it is riddled with entrances to the dangerous underground realms. Raiders and monsters...

    Whispering Vault

I've never run it, but I own it. Style: Imagine you're Pinhead, and you're a good guy. Yeah, that's right, you're a supernaturally empowered human, body twisted and shaped by the power, responsible for travelling to Earth to correct the damage done by creatures called the Unbidden. The rule...

Define Munchkin ! and How do you see them effecting the game ?

I usually require a bare minimum. "Who would your character go to for help if everything went absolutely in the toilet? Why would he expect this person to help him? What is his relationship with this person?" If the answer is "Noone" then there's a conference.

Define Munchkin ! and How do you see them effecting the game ?

Re: So that's what a Munchkin is....!!! Default array. Choose an array of six numbers that you feel is fair, and let them arrange them as they like. A common array that I've seen used is 18, 15, 13, 12, 10, 8. You might offer an alternate to those who want more spread out bonuses: 16, 15...

Tell me about medieval border fortresses, please!

Since Elves are involved, you're going to have to be able to defend yourself against magic. I'd recommend having the most important parts of the castle underground. Since you have the spellcasters around who can accomplish it, it's a fairly simple matter to light the place with continual...

Define Munchkin ! and How do you see them effecting the game ?

IMO: Someone who plays meta-games in the context of a roleplaying game. Such metagames include, but are not limited to: "Numerical dominance": Make a character that can deal with any threat, that can dominate any scene. You "win" this game when the rest of the players are forced to sit back...

Bashing two heads together - how would you do it?

What do you do when the maneuver stops being unsual, when they're doing the unusual thing on a usual basis, in order to get the bonus?

The Concept Is... he DOESN'T use a sword.

I don't allow spellcaster characters to take age penalties at first level. It smacks too much of getting bonuses you can use for penalties that don't matter.

[Chapter 1 - OOC] Iron Lords of Jupiter

The tower is fairly simple. The machinery in the bottom three levels are electric generators, fed with a gaseous fuel pumped in through underground pipes. The source of this fuel is not known, but it's rumored to come from underground, somewhere near the city.

    Fictional/Created Religions

In one of the settings I made up, there was no such thing as a "god"... just spirits of varying levels of power. Clerics didn't worship so much as supplicate, negotiate, and dominate.

The Concept Is... he DOESN'T use a sword.

Another reason is balance. I added an exotic weapon, "Long Halberd" to my game, that is basically a halberd with reach. They're already spearlike, axelike, and guisarme-like(that is, set vs. charge, x3 critical, +2 to trip) which is pretty nifty. With reach too they start getting out of hand.

Yes, no problem. Take the feat.

What d20 game hasn't been done [or done right] yet?

Close. It's more like Josie and the Pussycats D20, though Scooby-doo would be doable. It's a minigame that appeared in a recent Polyhedron. If you're not getting Dungeon/Polyhedron you're missing some of the coolest things to come out for D20.
