I am not familiar with either system. What do you think in the changes caused players to balk?

I loved the Gangrel and Malkavians. We also played the card game alot too.

I am interested in these depending on how the production paints look. I am wondering however why they are so much higher in price than WotC retail you would think a company like WK would have enough volume to provide competitive prices.

I believe also that it is a reference to the original Dark Sun setting where the characters started off more powerful to make up for the lethality of the setting. I don't know if it is a good design idea but it is in keeping with the original version of the setting.

Despite my post on digitalization I agree with Aber. There should always be hardcopy books available is stores. Perhaps lesser print runs or even POD but it is still a good idea.
