D&D General Thaco the angry clown... really?

I’m of that generation, and I am most certainly amused. I’m even more amused by the people getting offended by the mildest of dad jokes.

D&D 5E (2014) For Players: What makes an encounter "scary"?

From yesterday. Meloon Wardragon comes looking for his axe. Everybody immediately ran away.

D&D 5E (2014) Bending Problem With Top Heavy Nolzur's Goristro Miniature

It’s not as terrifying when most of the monsters my players encounter are albino. I really need to paint more.

Also to paint it. This is a mini designed to strike fear into players.

D&D 5E (2014) Bending Problem With Top Heavy Nolzur's Goristro Miniature

The hot water trick worked well. I suspect the long-term solution is to store it on its side.

D&D 5E (2014) Bending Problem With Top Heavy Nolzur's Goristro Miniature

I have the same issue. I’m going to try hot water, but it likely needs reinforcement somewhere. Does anyone know a good way of doing this?

D&D 5E (2014) Sample adventure to test 5E in high level (15th) play. Any takers?

If you still need a fighter, here’s Saria. https://ddb.ac/characters/52586260/MY8jeH Consistent damage, can take a beating.

D&D 5E (2014) Sample adventure to test 5E in high level (15th) play. Any takers?

I would be interested in playing a non-variant human champion fighter. Let’s take it back to the basic assumptions.

D&D General On how many dice we use

I use multiple dice of the same colour for each type because I am old and get confused otherwise. 4x d4 black 12x d6 red (enough for any fireball or lightning bolt) 8x d8 blue (cone of cold) 4x d10 yellow 4x d12 purple 2x d20 orange 5x d20 red (handed out for inspiration)

D&D General Hero Forge in Color Is Open For Busniess!

I’m also using them as painting guides for their unpainted figures. You can try different colour combinations and decide what you like before you start painting.
