Pausing to look at the face of terror on Ashnars face, Ogrin chugs his potion of Invisibility and then moves forward, towards the 'god', intent to make it pay.
Ogrins head clears. He immediately runs to rejoin his friends.
Rasereit too feels the fog of confusion lift from his mind. He steps up to the closest Gnoll, letting him feel the full wwight of his two axes. His hand axe misses the intended target, but his Urgrosh strikes true, dealing some pain!
Ogrins paranoia reaches new levels. He looks around for someone to attack but sees none, and continues his babbling.

OOC: Ogrin is not invisible as the confusion took effect before any of our actions. He is running away, though.
"Retreat!?? Never!!" you hear Ogrin's fading voice shout from the back of the party...
Before he can bring out and drink his potion, Ogrins mind is befuddled. He flees towards the back of the party, and will likely try to get further away unless someone in the party trips him or wrestles him to the ground.
OOC: Not sure if you would allow AoO's from friends in this situation...
This round:I'm not paid enough to fight a god! Ogrin thinks to himself. He grabs a potion from a pocket, empties the bottle into his mouth and promptly vanishes. He mutters to the others, "I'm going for the big one."
Next round: Under the protection of Invisibility, Ogrin sprints into the room...
"I hate it when I'm right... This place was obviously designed my a madman."
Ogrin looks for any way over to the other side that doesn't involve swimming.
Note on the Paladin/Ranger multiclass combo: There is precedent for removing these kinds of multiclass restrictions without the needs of feats or PrC's.
In the 3E Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting p. 25, there's a sidebar for monastic orders, where the one for The Shining Hand mentions that...
"We could extend the rope with one of our own, and pull it from outside the room. I agree there's a trap somewhere; the smell isn't very reassuring. Smells like a dog pen."
Ogrin shrugs. "Let's look for doors. If we find none, one person should pull the rope while the others stay outside the room... just in case Something Bad happens again.
Gnoll lair? Seems like bloody kobolds built it..."
Before resting:
"If anyone of you still have enough arcane power to see magic auras, perhaps you should investigate the items we've found so far? There's this thick sheet of paper in a scroll case, a golden amulet and a ring made of copper wire."
After resting:
"We shouldn't go one by one. Look...
Ogrin, now visible again, also lags behind with Eanos. "This .. is a disturbing phenomenon. I'd rather not rest near it. I suggest we make our rest behind the door just outside the entrance to the room, in the dead-end where we slew the last hyena. With a couple of lookouts in the three-way...
I, personally, loved "Plots & Places" for the high Signal/Noise-ratio. It contained lots of useful information that inspired me for my own games. When it got merged back, I had to sift through tons of posts, and I soon stopped reading the enworld forums altogether. I only came back when I...
Ogrin is also interested (Ftr2/Rog1, "Thug"). If you wish to use pieces of his background, consider all of it public for this adventure.
EDIT: I've updated Ogrins background a bit, and added info on his latest adventure, which includes a criminal organisation known as the Conclave. It is...
A well-armed halfling enters the Red dragon (again). Seeing there's a lot of people he hasn't seen before, he speaks up: "Ogrin here, looking for a lucrative job. I'm skilled in discreet inquiries and can keep my head in battle, should it be needed."
Ogrin climbs up on a bar chair next to the...
