    D&D 3.x 3.5e Ki Strike

From SRD: Ki Strike (Su): At 4th level, a monk’s unarmed attacks are empowered with ki. Her unarmed attacks are treated as magic weapons for the purpose of dealing damage to creatures with damage reduction. Ki strike improves with the character’s monk level. At 10th level, her unarmed attacks...

    Save or die

That just reminded me of my DM in an online game. Although he'd probably wonder what that 'save' word means. :)

    Save or die

I like it! Consider it stolen, violating any and all copyright laws :)

    Save or die

Would you mind detailing this a bit for me? It sounds like something I might like to use.

    Save or die

I'm personally not a fan of save or die so I won't be using them in my new campaign. Raise dead is available, but only used in certain circumstances. One can't walk in off the street and raise their buddy who just got roasted by a dragon.

    Poisons, Antitoxins and Antidotes: 101

I'm starting a new campaign this weekend and one of the players wants to play a rogue that uses poisons. Now I don't have a problem with this (the local authorities might :] ), but I'd like to understand Antitoxins and Antidotes a little better. I'm asking for some relatively simple comments...

    Assistance with a Sorcerer build

Well, I guess I'll throw my hat into ye old "help me build a character" ring. In an online campaign I'll be playing in, I'd like to play either a Pally or a Sorcerer. The Pally is easy enough to build, but with the limited spells and feat selection being quite important for sorcerers I thought...

    Value of a spellbook

So, if it's a non-magical item, and a wizard fails their save vs a fireball, does it go up in smoke? My DM currently allows wizards to cast right out of their spell book if they're in dire straights, but the spell is erased from the book. I think it's a pretty good way of doing it.

    Value of a spellbook

Thanks. I was searching through the SRD and couldn't find it and don't have the books handy seeing that I'm at work and supposed to be working (a concept I haven't fully grasped yet :) )

    Value of a spellbook

How do you determining what a spell book is worth if you wanted to sell it? My Rogue got his hands on one so I was just wondering. Being the nice guy that he is, he'll probably just turn it over to the wizards in the party when they meet up again, but I was wondering what kind of monetary...

My PCs are walking into a problem!!

Do you make all your rolls out in the open? If not, and the PCs are dropping like flies, roll their auto stabalizations behind the screen and fudge them if they fail. Then, if they do all go down, have them wake up in the middle of nowhere stripped of all their gear. That'll teach them a...

    Kingdoms of Kalamar and www.kenzerco.com

I want to pass my thanks onto Mark Plemmons and everyone else and Kenzer. I recieved Midnight's Terror yesterday. Now if I'd just get off my butt and pick up the core books I can get started on my own campaign.

    Campaign setting recommendations

Guys, guys, can we all just settle down a little here. I had no idea my little topic could spark such a heated debate. Everyone reads things and sees things a little different. That's why there's different religeons that don't get along when they're all reading from the same book. They all...

    Campaign setting recommendations

Thanks again for all your recommendations. Most of the settings other than KoK and FRCS are a little to dark for my taste, and some of the ideas I have will probably be easier to pull off if the players have never played in the setting, so I won't go with FRCS. I'll be going with KoK. Other...

    Campaign setting recommendations

Thanks a bunch, and please, keep 'em coming. I was leaning towards KoK as none of the players (as far as I know) have ever seen it, and wanted something different, because sooner or later (more than likely sooner), I'll screw something up, and if no one is familiar with the setting, no one will...

    Campaign setting recommendations

Long time lurker (very long time), first time poster here. And I've come in search of the infinite wisdom of those on these boards. I've been playing D&D for about 5 years now, and am thinking trying the DM's chair. I am quite aware of the amount of time and effort that goes into creating a...
