Shackled City Epic: "Vengeance" (story concluded)

Mmm, bone demons. Nice. Your characters never do seem to catch a break... :)

Shackled City Epic: "Vengeance" (story concluded)

That was great... Right after rumors of the heavenly visitor in the night, have the hags pretend to be angels. I don't know whether that was your imagination, LB, or the writers of the module, but it's brilliant either way. Great descriptions, LB. Just love it when you update this SH.

Shackled City Epic: "Vengeance" (story concluded)

Wow. Nice fight and great description. It always seems like your heros -- especially the melee types -- take one HELL of a beating, LB. I don't think you like 'em much. :) And Morgan is getting cooler and cooler.

Shackled City Epic: "Vengeance" (story concluded)

Morgan rocks. On toast. Arun is in danger of being surpassed as my favorite character... though Hodge will go down in history as the most fun. Sorry to hear about the filter, LB, but I can't complain about it too much if this means we get more great updates!

Shackled City Epic: "Vengeance" (story concluded)

Ironically, that quote alone makes me hope he survives. It's Zenna that needs knocking down a peg or two. Between Dannel and our new half-orcish friend, maybe she'll come to her senses. And hopefully Mole will cheer up as well... what a nasty thing to have on your conscience!

Shackled City Epic: "Vengeance" (story concluded)

Mmm... Fire elementals. Is that Half-Orc barbecue I smell? ;) Great updates lately, LB, even though I've been too busy to comment much. I have to say, I think I like this crew even better than the last group of your characters -- probably because of Arun and Hodge. I likes me them dwarves. :)

    Angel Finale

First off, wow. I hate that it had to end, but that was one hell of a bang to go out on. The best exchange of the night was when Angel was talking to gang and said one would betray him. Spike instantly raises his hand. After Angel explains it, Spike's reply is, "Can I at least deny you three...

Legends of Hawaiki 2: Where the Wild Things Are

Wai raises his face to the sky, enjoying the morning sun shining down on him. The first few drops of rain falling feel wonderfully cool against his skin. "We'd better get moving... no telling whether or not it's going to get serious about this rain or just be a quick shower." Matching action...

    Wizardru's Story Hour (updated 11/21)

That was a really cool competition, WizarDru. I'm curious as to whether or not Argent was relieved that Bolo didn't win, or if that was only an in-character reaction. That would carry quite a bit of responsibility, after all... By the way -- love the new avatar, Wiz.

Legends of Hawaiki 2: Where the Wild Things Are

Wai says nothing, but wraps the end of the rope more tightly around his hands. He braces himself and waits.

Legends of Hawaiki 2: Where the Wild Things Are

Wai curses under his breath after missing his grab for Lani's form, but needs all his attention to stay on the rope himself. Afraid to look down lest he unbalance himself, Wai calls down, "Lani, are you all right? Can you hear me?"

Shackled City Epic: "Vengeance" (story concluded)

Arun and Hodge... together again. Have I mentioned lately how much I like them? And this story hour?

Shackled City Epic: "Vengeance" (story concluded)

Niiiice. Just in time. I have to say, though, that this is one of the nastiest modules I've ever read about. There are a large number of really dangerous encounters all together, without much (any) time to rest and resupply. Not to mention how far the party is taken from any kind of possible...

PRC - Song of Ice & Fire - Drowned God

It's no stretch for the class -- which is flavorful and well-balanced, by the way -- but it is beyond credibility based on the source material. The Drowned God? The one that encourages the pillage, rape, and winnowing of the weak that the Ironmen wreak? And you think a prestige class for his...

Legends of Hawaiki 2: Where the Wild Things Are

Wai "Er...," begins Wai while looking at the tumbled rock. "I don't mind taking that path, but we should probably be careful. I'm... uh, not that great a climber." Wai pulls his pack from his shoulder and fishes out a long length of rope. "If someone could secure this higher up, that would...

Shackled City Epic: "Vengeance" (story concluded)

Hodge Works for me. Hodge rocks. -------- By the way, gotta love those deliciously heroic moments. Arun crushed the snot out of that half-orc, eh? In one of my games, a warrior sundered the fighter's sword. The fighter fought the warrior with his dagger and then took his weapon -- a...

The Mésalliance. Part 2. (Updated 11/28)

By Nwm, naturally. For what is Nwm if the coolest and most powerful characters are not unidentical? (With apologies to Sep for theiving the construction. :))

The Mésalliance. Part 2. (Updated 11/28)

For Love of the Demon Beautiful, beautiful update. The delicate balance between Eadric and the Queen of Throile in this update is awesome. The fact that you can create such a relationship between a succubus and a PALADIN is incredible. If you don't mind my asking... was Titvillius rejected...

Shackled City Epic: "Vengeance" (story concluded)

D'Oh! Aw, man... I liked Hodge. Well, I'm glad it wasn't Arun, so that's a bonus. It's still an amazingly cool way to send him on his way, LB... but I really would have rather had someone else bite it! Hee. Thanks for the update.
