Chris and I would like to invite everyone to a "New Apartment Party." I'll make dinner and there will be some sort of entertainment. So, start looking at your August schedules! The specifics are yet to come, but I'd rather plan ahead so that everyone can make it. :)

Is it possible the city vehicle that came out inspected the tree, saw that it needed to come down, but couldn't "get to it" right away? And, the patrol vehicle was just checking on it...? I dunno, I wouldn't be overly freaked out about it. However, if they start camping out in your driveway...

Yes, well at least I think "group painting" might be fun. I've spent quite a bit of time painting, reading about painting, and visiting nerdy painting store and I thought it might be a good exercise to meet and paint together once and perhaps share painting tips we've picked up? I'd be willing...

On a somewhat related tangent...do we know what the breakdown of genders and sexual identifications we have on this site? In other words, has there ever been a thread/poll asking if people are Male vs Female and Straight, Bi, and Gay? That'd be interesting...

They just announced that we're going to start having to show IDs to ride the subway now...that's WAY more annoying. (Of course we already can't eat/drink on the subway.)
